If you want something like that, you would be better off rolling your own roms.
I use the no intro set for each console that doesn't contain hacks or duplicates.
Check out my builds for Umbrella Arcades. They use a faster processor than these, and the duplicates have been removed. It can run a good number of PS2 and GC titles, Sega Model 3, and some Xbox games.

Hello! Quick question, I just updated my Super Console X2 to the latest software (4.6) build.
Unfortunately, after the update, the Playstation games are no longer working. Also, the tv controller all of a sudden is not working.

I'm getting this mostly because of the games yyeah. But now definitely because I just saw guardian heroes. Always had n still have PlayStation. But I remember seeing that game in a magazine I literally loved just looking at those 4 pages. The graphics the characters I always wanted to play it as a kid. And soon enough I will thanks to you.

Awesome review, thanks mate! By the way, I just got mine and I'm struggling to have Netflix, HBO Plus, and etc, installed on Android run. Although I was able to get Amazon Prime Video installed, the other applications seem "not compatible" with this console. I wonder if anyone else has faced/found a workaround to get them working?

Just purchased recently. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to add games to the favorites list. Please advise.
Hold down the “A” button and the option menu will come up. There you can change emulators and a few other things. Adding it to the favorites is in that menu.
I just got one of these for Christmas and have been unable to get it to boot to anything other than the Android screen. How do you get it to switch to EmuElec? Thanks for your time.

I'm playing around with this X2 and I can't figure out two things: how to exit a game and go to the main menu, and how to update the UX. My main menu does not look like yours at all. Also, I think it would be cool to see how you switch between game mode and TV mode.
i have the same Problem...always have to restart the console to play a other game..cant exit from a game to main.
I had the same problem trying to exit a game and fooled around and found out if you press Select and Start at the same time, it goes back to main menu....hope this helps

the price prolly wouldve shot through the roof if they tried to add the dongle worth of tech in that case. wouldve needed newer and more expensive parts.

Disappointed. The wireless control has half second delay. Hard to play game like mario or any jump games. Please le us know if any other wireless controllers that will work with this console. Want to buy couple.

Completely depends on the amount of money you want to spend, and what systems you value to have the best performance.

I did not connect a keyboard, I can navigatte around but for the live of me i can not launch a game ex pac man on the atari 800 is it A or B or X or Start or Select or trigger ... all that seems to happen is i navigate the menu ... it seems useless to me

if you are wanting solid emulation for PS2 and Xbox 360 then you are better off getting an old office desktop PC and using that instead of these android boxes. I typically use Dell Optiplex SFF PCs for emulation builds and can find them commonly for around $120-150

It's hard to make a recommendation without knowing what a person's budget might be, and what systems they have the biggest preference for playing. Super Console X King so far has been my favorite device, but depending on where you buy it from, the preloaded SD card may or may not be configured well and thus may require manually adjustments to emulators as well.

OMG - this is so close to a buy for me, but it’s WAY too clunky. Why adapters for SD cards and adapters for 4 players? Just streamline it with a built-in micro SD slot and 4 USB ports for 4 player games, and this thing would be an instant purchase.
Totally agree, definitely not designed well for multiple players in mind on this device.

The Mame emulation is messed up control wise on thease things. For some reason control pad one also controls and loads player two in fighting games and beat em ups making them unplayable. Any idea on a fix? Many thanks 😊
Sounds like you need to reach out to the manufacturer, as the issues you are describing are definitely not something that I have experienced with my device and not something that is normal operations.

@@FightOstinFight they sent me some possible fixes but I have bricked previous super console’s trying to mess around with the emulation so I haven’t dared try them to be completely honest.

You have the dongle because it's cheap. It's way cheaper to buy thousands of dongles than it is to solder in 6 USB ports.

Fine assuming you assign the correct emulator. 4 player games are playable when using the provided usb expansion dongle
Depends on what n64 emulator their using...I believe Mupen64-Parallel n64 is the best emulator for 64...this console is a waste of money. All I did was spend $100 on a Dell i5 3020 and I downloaded Retroarch and have all the emulators and games for old systems running
GREAT CHANNEL,-Will sub n bell - but someone / anyone. Help! Is it worth getting this 256gb version, when I'm likely NOT going to play entire SYSTEMS worth of games? Can I delete systems Ex: Wonderswan, or Vectrex, or individual games that are duplicated so bad? I feel like 128GB is plenty for me. PS2 was notoriously difficult to develop so I imagine it's more difficult to emulate than the Dreamcast. Dreamcast was just a console Sega NAOMI so it was easy to port Arcade games. Try PCSX2 on your computer for PS2

Is this supposed to work out of the box or do you have to do anything to set it up first? I bought one and it didn’t worked (no signal being sent to the monitor) so they sent a replacement and exactly the same issue occurred. Am I doing something wrong or missing something I need to do before plugging it in and getting it running?
I don't own one of these, but I've watched 20-30 videos about these and Pandora boxes over the past 2 weeks. I believe that's part of the simplicity of these is they're supposed to be plug and play. You can tweak things, etc, but isn't necessary. I watched a vid from someone on here that got a pandora box in a case with a screen- like a laptop. The screen didn't work, but he could hear the sounds when he moved the joysticks. He took it apart and found the ribbon cable to the monitor had come loose. Probably during shipping. But it was fixable. These small boxes don't have too many connection points to come loose, so you might take it a part and see if somethings not connected.
It could be a bad hdmi cable or a bad port on the monitor you're plugging into. Maybe try it on a TV or a different monitor? Anyways, good luck with it!
@@jasonmartin7137 thanks Jason. I had to send it back to AliXpress for a full refund though. I’m not very technically minded so I wouldn’t know how to fix it even if I knew how to get the case open. Tried a bunch of different cables to no avail. It wouldn’t even boot (to Android) with no memory stick attached. If anybody is reading this and thinking of buying one of these from AliXpress, just be aware that I received TWO of these and they were broken out of the box. Something to think about before you purchase.
Back to the drawing board for an emulator machine for me.
