A rumor has it the an angel has been born during the jam that starts at 11:00. God, this is my favourite Anderton's video. I was so excited like during the part where they chose the wood and unveiled the master pieces.
That ultraviolet glow!!! Insanely beautiful!! Then they flipped it over and to see the contrast of the brown back of the body with the blue neck. Eye candy!
I just bought one of these, and I am gob-smacked at how gorgeous it is. Mine is a Swamp Ash body, with an amber quilted maple top, and a flame maple satin neck, and a Brazilian rosewood figured board. But I might be even more blown away by the electronics in this thing. It has so many pickup configurations. 17 different combinations with 500k and another 17 with 250k. And those MEV humbuckers modeled after Paul’s guitar humbuckers are ridiculous. It has become the dream guitar I never even realized I wanted.
Especially since they are such an amazing and surreal company. Especially Paul himself. I met him a while ago and he seemed to be the most nice and caring man ever. Shit I'm 15 and I wanna work for him
I get to spend time with Paul every now and then as I am blessed to live near Stevensville. The factory is one of my favorite places to just look around and marvel at all of the guitars!
Gorgeous guitars! I liked how slowly and gently Lee and Pete handled the precious merchandise including Pete making sure his shirt buttons were not going to scratch the back.
Fine instruments!I own a Al Di Meola signature model with his neck carve and 57/08 pickups with cocobolo fingerboard!!I love my PRS!These guitars are a paridigm for sure!!👍👍👍
I hope that PRS will make an S2 version of this guitar, with the same pickups and switching/wiring, tremolo and tuners. Think those would pair well with some more accessible woods
I come back to this video every now and then just to listen to the Jam in the middle. Incredibly beautiful. Easily the best jam on an Andertons video. Well done, sirs.
I picked one of these up in Cincinnati. I live in Nashville and I’m fortunate to have quit a few sweet guitars, but the Modern Eagle V is my favorite. The quality of the diversity of this particular guitar in my humble opinion has been thought through carefully. I built a wet dry wet rig for a 3 piece blues rock band and whatever I throw at it, it blows me away. Plays perfectly, sounds amazing and looks beautiful. Thanks guys at GC in Cincinnati and PRS for this amazing tool. I can’t put it down.
The Captain’s playing has become so much more sophisticated in these videos over the last 6-12 months, it seems to me. Congratulations Lee, it’s inspiring! Is Pete’s playing rubbing off? Anyway, I really enjoy the videos with Pete and Lee, from across the pond, in California. Cheers!
Watching this video almost a year later, and all I can say about those guitars is how amazingly beautiful they are. If they play half as well as they look.....PRS makes guitars that are also works of art!
Variety is the spice of life and having something good to watch about guitars is always exciting and much appreciated by me. In a world full of chaos its good to see the beautiful creative side of people being shown as an example for what's possible when positive energy is released. The craftsmen that made these guitars certainly have my respect, great creations everyone :-)
@pizza time all joking aside I recently visited guitar center, haven't been for years, and they've actually installed locks on those contraptions that hold the guitars up against the wall. You need an employee to unlock it with a key for you to get to it.
@@hchoe741 I mean… these kinda guitars come at the price of a good used car. Car dealers certainly don't leave those open with the key in the ignition for you to test drive at your leisure either… ;)
The Aqua Violet is my favorite! If anyone wants to buy it for me I'll gladly accept! Lee's guitar phrasing just gets better and better and Pete is always phenomenal with his playing.
OMFG ! Anderson’s, you have coerced me into buying several PRS guitars in the past couple of years. Please sell these quickly so that I have money for the kids Xmas gifts this year.
Only a jealous idiot would hate a PRS. I’ve owned them all and PRS is the king of innovation and quality. It’s not even close. Are you listening Gibson and Fender?
Never really bonded with PRS as a player, but they do an amazing job, for sure. No guitar will ever beat that graveyard edition andertons demoed earlier this year, with the shades of grey and red and that awesome raven. What a piece of art... And Paul is a great dude, for sure. Anyway, great video, as always. And kudos on that outro jam. Superb! Cheers
I have been keeping track of these - and that is 100% the one used for the video and pictures on their site. It's private stock #8200, and that back is unmistakeable. Now I have to wait until mine arrives!!
The yellow one is gorgeous all around... the blue's are really stunning from the front but I wouldn't have chosen the blue neck... ❤ snappy sounding guitars with the bright voiced pickups and the maple necks with bone nuts ..
What's tough is when you start carving the planks the flame can change, and the one you picked out no longer looks the same. This is especially crucial when you have your guitr refinished.
I can’t afford one of these, but I might stick a middle pickup in my PRS SE and call it the ‘Modern Seagull’.
Nice
😂😂😂😂
Call it the Steven seagull
👏👏👏
Paul should se this.. 😂
That violet burst is hands down the most beautiful color I’ve seen, so elegant
Find someone who looks at you the way Lee looks at Paul Reed Smith
And then marry her! Or him.
@@39MercFlatheadI'd marry Paul Reed Smith just for access to his wood cupboard.

6:15 "Woof, found it." Brilliant, I can only imagine what it was like seeing all that wood in person.
it must have been super hard for them
I smiled throughout the whole video. Never been so intimate with private stock experience before. Way to go PRS.
Especially since they are such an amazing and surreal company. Especially Paul himself. I met him a while ago and he seemed to be the most nice and caring man ever. Shit I'm 15 and I wanna work for him
The "V" Letter in the name made me wonder if PRS produced V-shape models.
Same, man HAHAHAHA
Authentic V's
Theres a pic around with Paul playing one he built before prs was a volume manufacturer. Theres a couple of teles from back then too.
I was hopeful for this!
@@dickybird6916 they also made a few extremely rare explorer models

I recently got a PRS guitar, for the sole reason that I think Paul is such an amazing dude.
Those guitars look so beautiful and exquisite.
Paul Reed Smith is a crazy funny uncle.
Agreed. But he gives the best presents!
Met the guy a year or so ago and he was the most nice and funny kind dude. He signed my SE Custom in trans black and even signed my arm on asking lol
I’m watching this at work and I literally said out loud “OH MY GOODNESS” when you turned them over and showed those necks. 😳
I love how Cap referees to THE PAUL REED SMITH as “the other Paul” 🤣 I know it made sense in context but out of context I got a kick out of it.
Clinton Summers there’s two Paul’s in the intro tho
Pete's such an incredible player. You give the man a tone and he knows exactly how to make it sing.
Lee, that is the best I have ever heard you play. That guitar is for you personally. You earned it and deserve to treat yourself.
OMG ! Both of those blue guitars are amazing, just pure art work
PRS has made great sounding pickups on the guitars and color is just flawless Paul Reed Smith is a genius
That aqua violet one is absolutely insane. Definitely the most gorgeous private stock PRS I've ever seen.
Gorgeous guitars! I liked how slowly and gently Lee and Pete handled the precious merchandise including Pete making sure his shirt buttons were not going to scratch the back.
The range of tones from these are incredible!
And I must say that Lee's playing has gone far and beyond what it was when I first started watching the Anderton's vids.
Well done, brother...!
Really liked the call and response part of the jam, with Pete echoing back what the Captain was playing. Lovely.
This is such a great insight in to the picking process and how it’s done and the final product. So cool!
Those are the best looking guitars I may have ever seen. And the new PRS pickups sound great. The detail in these builds is unrivaled.
I truly think this video may be Anderson’s best content yet. Something about this particular video just felt so unique and special!
Amazaballs! When Lee flipped the pick up split while Pete was playing blew my mind. For the first time I really heard the difference.

The first modern eagle released in 2004 had a solid Brazilian rosewood neck and sounded incredible.
The Aquaviolet is the best looking guitar I’ve ever seen...
Roberto Blue-Matteo was savage in the middle of the park for Chelsea.
Not gonna lie, probably the only video in which I stared at blocks of wood with awe for 5 straight mins!
Really diggin' that golden lemon drop yellow one! Thanks for the demo guys!
Yeah!!! Beatiful guitars!!! Congratulations!!!
Captain and Pete, the best guitar youtubers!!!
One of the best Andertons videos! Please can you do a similar one with Gibson’s! I love how you boys are so grounded even with your rise to the top! 👌
This is the perfection made guitars. I'm speechless...

Best and most versatile PRS ever made, and the best looking too!
Loved this video, really rewatchable with the wood selection and demonstration mix, bit of Pauly RS too!
Such an exciting process seeing them pick out the wood! Wish I’d have the money to do this for myself one day!
This video shows how Captain improved his guitar soloing skill. Especially the last solo was really great... guitar sang! Well done 👍🏻
