@@Philipp-Humm Yeah, that one. Because it made me click, it was more remarkable from the rest of my feed for those colorful items, thought it was an hormozi video lol
So interesting your lessons! Thank you very much. I'm a story teller for kids and adults. Thank you for your generosity. Marcia from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Love the video! I have been working for two years to create a YT channel in my spare time and I am using some of your tips to make a script for my first episode. Thank you!
Dude, you're a Rockstar! Had been searching for a video like this for quite sometime now. Surprised that I didn’t see this video sooner. I normally don't comment but commenting here because your channel deserves explode.
11:53 'The Kids' excitement was like this wildfire spreading as they chattered and jumped with enthusiasm.' You have made a couple of mistakes at this point. 1. excitement, enthusiasm are telling words, not showing because the author is interpreting the situation instead of letting the reader do it. This is simply an example of vivid or colourful language, like using dart and vault instead of run and jump. Colourful language helps the reader picture the image you are expressing, but do not let him or her interpret it. 2. Good storytelling is always a blend of showing and telling. The most extreme example is scenes are shown, the events between scenes are told, for example, a dialogue (shown) followed by waiting an hour for the friend to return (told) and a second dialogue (shown). But good writers tell within a scene as well. To a degree, they use showing as a form of colourful language, but they also show the main points in the story and tell lesser points. Showing and telling likewise have unique features such as in the way they can be used to deceive the reader due to the way readers interact with each.
Thanks a lot for your videos ❤ I already watched all the public speaking ones but I need your advice how to deal with low self confidence and social anxiety when you talk on the stage (I'm on medical therapy but it doesn't help that much )
Hi there, So nice to hear from you. I'd suggest to join an improv group and starting to do smaller constructive embarrassment exercises. Those are the fastest way to overcome social anxiety!
@@Journeytomonetization-ko9yq Once I study it more. At the moment I'm not an expert at it. And I only like to cover videos where I'm an expert. Will let ya know once I go for it :)
