    I'll repeatedly commend you.
    Your channel is truly revolutionary, especially because not everybody is paying attention to CPE as a certificate and you are providing your viewers with the essential information required for one to successfully pass the examination.
    Kudos to you.

      Excuse me, but... where do you find that supposed revolution? Revolutionary can be a system, a method, a machine, technology, even a youtube channel if we speak about information and social media. One more thing, "I'll repeteadly commend you" you said? What sort of compliment is it? I reckon that's ott, but I recognise that are people scattered around this coronavirus-stricken doomed world who tend to overdo it

      @@ismaelrosa8091 Again, thanks for sticking to this channel and for your concerns.
      Who knows? If ‘deft artisan’ continues to use this phrase long enough (of which I think has been said in a correct way), people may follow in suit and from there we have ‘evolution of a language’. An extreme case but you never know! Things change, be sure to be open to these changes and accept nuances between languages, especially when one is trying hard to learn a new one. Praise those who try and encourage those who need a little guidance. Don’t be what nowadays we may call ‘a hater’ (a recently evolved word of the language for instance). Once again, thank you and stay posted.

      @@ismaelrosa8091 Your comment is the quintessential epitome for a pseudo-critique. Extremely hypocritical and logically flawed.
      Criticizing a slightly more idiosyncratic style of writing whilst making numerous grammatical mistakes. Just because you've read a few sentences where "revolutionary" is being used to emphasize or embellish a conflagration or a mutiny, doesn't necessarily mean that that's its sole definition. Besides your incompetent response, one more thing, English is one the most versatile languages, bear that in mind.

    Hello! I hope you fell great! I would like to ask if in a review we are allowed to write only positive aspects, without criticism. Also, if it is a biography we are writing about, how to make it sound interesting since the end might be known by many people.

    • @EnglishClass4
      @EnglishClass4  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Maria, your first body paragraph can give a short summary of the reviewed material. Give a brief overview - plot, setting, actors, general idea.
      Second and/or third body paragraphs can be used to describe good and bad points respectively. Unlike essay your paragraphs don’t have to be of the same length - if you liked the described thing then your paragraph with good points will be naturally bigger than the other one.
      In relation to your second question, a review does not merely require a general description of, for example, an event or publication, but it specifies the particular aspects to be considered. For example, the review may employ narrative, as well as descriptive and evaluative language, and a range of vocabulary relating, for example, to literature and the media such as cinema or TV.
