Forgot you did a video on these!! Just got mine in the mail yesterday. Talkin bout a game changer! No more saggy 5.11 tactical belt! Us tall people need belts too! I have a 40 inch waist as well! Sizing on this thing is a piece of cake!!!

I've had mine for over a year and a half and love it. I also cut mine extra long and tuck it into the second belt loop.

Struggled with cheap belts for years & always told myself not paying $65 for a belt but finally got a Kore belt while ago & now I own like 5 of Kore belts cause it's a game changing belt for sure.

Just got one a few months ago. Never going back to any other. Really like being able to loosen the belt while driving long distances. Easy to tighten back up as you get out of your truck.

I think that you have it wrong. You can’t find a 38-40 belt because so many guys wear them. All of those 28-30 belts hanging on the rack are still from the original shipment that no one bought. And you can’t complain about a belt that lasts through 3 holes. That’s good service !

I've been wearing a Kore Essentials belt for about a year and a half and I love it. I carry my Springfield XDM elite 10mm in a lock leather holster on my right hip and a Taurus 38 special in a lock leather holster on my left hip as back up. I've also carried my Ruger 1911 (.45 ACP) in lock leather on my left hip while carrying my Springfield Garrison 1911 (9mm) in lock leather holster on my right hip. The Kore Essentials belt doesn't bat an eye.

I'm glad you are happy with the Kore belt. I have to give a shout out to Mack Belts tho. The founder is a former SEAL and employs veterans. Their shop is in Montana but they source saddle hides from Kentucky. I've purchased 3 Belts from Mack so far, 2 were gifts. Great quality leather and craftsmanship. I EDC a Sig P239 and my Mack Belt everyday. Of course my Sig is in leather too

  • @rquest3059

That's the belt I need to get. Like you said, leather takes on a shape of it's own. FYI, save your old belts. You can use them to strap your gear down on packs or roof racks.

Like you, I prefer the term frugal. I'm not opposed to spending money, but I want to get the best value for my money even if that means spending a little bit more.
FYI, I do own a Kore belt and for the money, it is fantastic.

If I recall correctly they come in two different widths. Pretty sure the 1.75 inch is the widest. Just be sure you order the proper size if necessary. Most men's pants should work with the 1.75" but some dress pants may not.
    Just a heads up.

It was hard to believe a belt could make such a difference but it does
I think its in the combo of the stiffness and theway you can tighten it to perfection that it holds my glock so well,You can dry fire all day and its solid. I just wish they had a blue color belt.

I've been wearing KORE belts for about 3 years now. First leather belt lasted 18 months. I'm on my second and third belt now. The silver belt seems to be more sturdy than the leather. Kore is amazing!
I think I even have the same buckle as you on my silver belt and am American flag on the leather.
Only reason I got a new one was it started separating where the rail ends.
Glad to see others like the gear I use.

The reason you can’t go into any store and find a 40” belt is because they are typically sold out of the most popular sizes. Which, BTW, here in the big ole US of A is much closer to the 40” range for men.

I do agree with you I also am a cheapskate. I tend to buy my clothes and a second hand shop when they we're out or I can get them clean anymore I throw them away and I buy another 50 cent shirt. Many years ago when I was in a situation with a new job they wanted their technicians to Wear ties. I went through the salvation Army and bought two Cucci ties people couldn't get over I spent so much money on those two times little did they know they were a dollar each.

Man, you’re going to the wrong stores if you can’t find a belt to fit you. I’ve been wearing jeans, cowboy boots and belts my whole life. Every western store I’ve been to carries leather belts that will hold ant holster and gun you want to carry. I too wear a size 40, and recently bought 2 new belts, one black and one brown. I carry a 1911 everywhere I go with no problem.
