Correct. The term "Third World Country" has always been confused/intertwined with "Developing Nation." If one were to refer to economic status, Developing Nation is the appropriate term.
Manila rank top 9 in the world for having numerous number of skyscrapers with 260+ in total while in whole African continent there are only less 15skyscrapers only Johannesburg dominates the most with 4 skyscrapers. its just equivalent to a small provincial city in the Phillippines.
Philippines has only 15% living in poverty and has less slum compared to Nairobi,Kenya which has 50-60% and has massive slums i been to nairobi west land CBD the streets are muddy and has no proper water sewege very poor infrastructures and transportation system.
I conquer with you. However, the current government is really trying to sanitize the city from where it is to a modernized city with proper infrastructure. Hopefully, it happens soon 🙏
