I've listened to the video not just watched the cut. When fading with detachable blades use the skip blade, method then hit your guidelines with the blades you skipped.... You can complete the end, but haircut with detachable blades even the outline..... I use detachable clippers primarily...
Nice cut brother.I agree with the detachables.they give such a clean cut.lever play isn’t for everyone,as detachables aren’t for everyone.I do think they’re something I will always keep in the lineup
I have many different types of clippers and always think with machine make best results of types and style of hair ... many times I changed my system but I don't my favorite system I'm elastic but I dreamed of find one best system who guarantee always best results...it it's possible think🤔?
I definitely think it looks good. Being a barber myself I can see where you may want to go in a do a little clean up but other than that I think you did well considering you haven’t done it in a while. I fuck wit it 🥰❤️
Detachables are so much better! I've been a barber for over 20 years my dad was a barber, so when I started cutting, all barbers used 76er's! I could cut 50 hairs cuts in a 8 to 9 hours ! At my shop Saturday I'm open 8-12 am and I do 20 to 25 cuts in that time, 25 if we push to 1230 or 1, but all u new barbers think u can only get a good fade with lever clippers, u just got to know what ur doing! And if u want speed I used detachables bc u can run a 2 straight up and it blends perfect and then shears on top and taper the bk and ur done , hit with the trimmers and razor around the ear back of the neck and side back neck and if they want a front edge u can! But most men like the razor around the ear and down the side of the neck!!! I dnt see any new barbers doing that anymore! Why????? But ur cut wasn't bad but I got 76er's all day, for bulk or even on top and they help speed ur cuts up! I hate going to a shop and it takes almost 2 hours to cut my hair! Bc I only cut my own sometimes and my son and friends bc I'm retired military disabled!! But I dnt get why u new barbers are so slow, when I could do 4 cuts in a hour! I cut circles around u new barbers!! I know u dnt want ur clients feeling like they get what they are paying for but a beard and cut shouldn't take more then 30 mins 45 tops!! That's using razor on the whole beard!! Just think about using detachable blades and Clippers more it'll help you cut faster. You can still use lever clippers, but tattoos will help you cut your time down.
Bro you're killing it bro! Fire cut, definitely very challenging but the cut was fire bro keep bringing the heat to the channel! 5k is on the way!!! Dope tips and breakdown bro!
You mean the new Ergo X? I guess it’s a matter of how you look at it. The current ergo is $170, the X comes with the new blade, new bracket, new colors, and new double magnet guards.
That's why I love the Oster Model 76 built Ford tough..
They are definitely built better than alot of the new clippers out currently.
Good job brother. 🎯20 years and I still use them for some bulk work, And finish up w regular clippers. Just time saver. 😁👍🏼💈
They definitely have their place in the barber game!

I’ll give it a try!

I have a few pieces on the way that I think will bring my Supra’s back to life, and then they will definitely find a place back on my station
Phew! Man, you are the big barber and I appreciated your humility!
🙌🏼, I really appreciate that. Thank you for your support
@@TheBarberPhil Any time, bro!
Now I need to learn how to do that!
Fade down with blades?
Love detachable bladez 🔥🔥🔥
I agree, I definitely feel they have a place in the game!
definitely valid man! I was scared the crown might end up looking weird, but it looks good all around!
👊🏼, definitely a tough test when using detachables
Nice cut man that’s fire 🔥
I’m looking to get this trimmer, do you have to buy each blade individually or is there a set you can buy?
Each
I believe some come with 1 or 2 blades, but you will have to buy all others separately.

It is definitely possible!
Beautiful work bro
Thanks ✌️
Hey man. Would you make a video on the Oster Skiptooth & Texture blades? I can’t find any good videos on them. Thanks.
I’ve actually never used them myself. I’ll see if anyone around me had one I can try out.

Appreciate the feedback and support!

Glad you took up the challenge bro! Great video 🙏🏽
👊🏼, appreciate you putting me up to it, a challenge like that can keep you humble. Lol
@@TheBarberPhil most definitely bro. We all need a reality check sometimes LOL I got mine

@@TheBarberPhil You are one of the very best barbers out there! You should have more confidence in yourself! You are Amazing!!!!
Them X-Ergos are on pre-order for the June drop. I might have to spring for em. Great job as usual Phil.
🙏🏼 I will probably do the same! Appreciate the continued support!
Amazing video and you killed the challenge, the haircut is flawless 👍🏽
🙏🏼, I greatly appreciate the compliment, but I could knit pick this haircut to death.
I never use those Wahls. Always used detachable.

Nice fade man! 🔥💈💯 makes me wanna pick up detachables for cutting hair now
👊🏼 They can certainly find there place on any barbers station, just a matter of preference. Appreciate you
👏 Well done it came out nice 👏
🙏🏼, appreciate you.
That’s a good hair cut 💪🏾💪🏾
🙏🏼, appreciate that
Nice challenging cut bro watchin from Cali 🙌🏿
👊🏼, thank you so much
That's clean bro 💯
💪🏼, appreciate that so much
Should have used the thinning shears on that line! Thinning shears over comb would have got it out!!
Once the video ended, I went back in and detailed a little better. I tried staying as true as I could to the challenge. But I agree with you.
clean 💈🔥👌
🙏🏼, appreciate that Alan!
If I could master detachables that's what I would use, it's a better looking fade opposed to plastic guards. Shearfades on IG is the detachable king!
I definitely agree that they feed the hair more cleanly. I’ll have to check his IG out.
Bro you're killing it bro! Fire cut, definitely very challenging but the cut was fire bro keep bringing the heat to the channel! 5k is on the way!!! Dope tips and breakdown bro!
👊🏼, appreciate you Polo!
If you're looking to sell those Zrs let me know...lol
One of my guys in the shop put them on his station, they work alright, but I wouldn’t have trusted them enough to sell them to someone.
wazgud bro
👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Man sling them they mow
My name Oster Volts cut way better!
$219 is high is it worth it an nice cut as always
