I am a counselor and i have worked with dyslexic children. These children have normal to average IQ(not intellectual deficiet) and they are good in right brain skills like dancing ,singing ,drawing,, cooking and other creative skills but pblm in arithmetic, logical reasoning ,language ( difficulty to talk about something in an organised and neat manner) and mostly these children are hyperactive (ADHD). All these comes under neurodevelopmental disorders(ICD10).
For a layman these children seems to be very normal but parents only know. They are the real sufferers.
We can help them by one to one tutor,point form teaching, pictorial learning like they done in their school.this is a very good attempt taken by this family and so many children are benefited and escaped from the so called educational system which they cant adapt.all the best for future..go ahead

Can i ask u one thing mam my child us weak in studies difficult to understand easy what teacher is teaching when go to psychologist in 7th grade she said neuro problems doesnt think maths logic during one exam he saw one child so the examiner said that child have disability in learning so my child mentioned about him that he was weak in studies doesnt understand things easily so examiner said he can apply in that category is it right she said

@@jessyt349 the child can done an assessment from a government hospital and hence diagnosis with specific learning disability and get a report . With that report they can try to get some consession in the 10 th board exam like allowing extra hours to write exam , ignoring spelling mistakes etc
