Thanks for pointing me towards this Marcus. It's almost like a modern Pictures at an Exhibition with the Haslinger chords as the promenade between pictures! You have a delicacy of touch that suits this surprisingly fragile music. I enjoy TD from the 1980s; from about 1986 their music begins to breath more naturally and often takes on a weightless quality. I enjoy Schmoelling's pieces too, and Loom at times.
Haslinger's piece is the one around 2:37, right? Such an uplifting chords. Somehow reminds the mood of Lily on the Beach (otherwise an odd album with only 3 worthwhile tracks).
Aha, i always knew it [Haslinger's theme] as part of "Im Kalten Odem der Zyklopen" medley from an obscure live Antarktis. Will do my homework on Mae's... Otherwise, nice subtle transition to Mother of Rain. I guess one can only notice such similarities by stripping perception off all TD's fancy electronica and settling with bare piano.
Excellent work Marcus, as always! Nice melded together too!

No, this is actually Mae's theme from Near Dark. Haslinger's piece is the first one (and which is repeated after each of the other pieces).
