I've stayed in a room layed out like that, and one where the bed is next to the window without the table. I like both layouts. Been on Paradise 4 times with trip 5 in 2 weeks for my wifes birthday.
Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of videos and I thought it looked much better and it seems like they’re going to keep working on it. I think it’s a cruise line to watch as it expands.
@@fattestedtravel I agree, and to be honest you showed me a few new ways to spend my time while on the ship, areas that I still haven't really explored. We're on the look out for your review of the Islander.😁
I really like your presentation. So many of these videos try to be funny and I find the more serious tone very refreshing and much more informative. 25:14 It makes no sense to me. The drinks are $13-$15 each (from earlier in the vid) but pizza dinner for 2 is only $20??
So I think they really want you to get that drink package, which is a good deal. They have some other drink packages, but the main one is really only good if you get like a lot of margaritas. But that pizza is so good. I can’t believe I’m talking well about pizza. Hating pizza is like part of my personality. Apparently I have to change my personality.
Thanks for sharing, I’ve only done Royal Caribbean it’s where I started, done one carnival cruise on Carnival Liberty. I don’t recommend it was gross great crew bad ship. I was 400 lbs down to 240 just from walking and cutting out some crap. Great video good info,I’d try this cruise I think.
Enjoyed watching your video this evening. Do you mind if I ask 2 questions: 1) How long was the cruise that you took? and 2) How long ago was this cruise that you took?
I rode this ship not long after it debuted in 2022 and while it was nice to get away and the vibes was ok, this ship is straight up ancient. Lacks a bunch of amenities, the pool is tiny, lots of rust around, and many other materials are as old as I am. I think margaritaville needs to replace this ship with a more modern small ship if they can get their hands on one. I've been on the Islander too and that one while also a little on the old side , what they did to that ship makes it look and feel a lot more modern. Another thing is hopefully they have a bigger ship in the cards to compete with their rivals and offer even more amenities than the Islander.
If you wrote it in 2022 I think they’ve done some updates on things like the rust and other things like the Pickleball court. It’s definitely old and I think that’s their business model but I had a great time.
@@fattestedtravelI took this cruise during Xmas and loved it. I didn't even think about how it looked. I was more focused on having a great time with my family
Hi thank you for the video, so can you explain the dining? You said you get 2 dinners, plus lunch plus all the other meals included? So is it 1 lunch 1 dinner per day then being able to eat at the buffets anytime they are open?
You can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner for free. There are always free food options all day long even after midnight. Only the main dining area is open just for dinner which you can also go for free each night. Trust me, there is wayyy too much free food. You definitely won't go hungry
I’m sorry for sounding negative but margaritaville cruise should not be someone’s first cruise experience that brand can really turn off first time cruisers thinking that all cruises are the same if you have a bad experience.I recommend trying Royal Caribbean or celebrity’s newer ship to get the real cruise experience.
Sure, spend a bunch of money to find out if you like something or not! SMH, This has been many peoples first cruise and they loved it. I know from bringing people on it. It is the perfect way to find out if you like cruising. I have been on all major lines and I love this ship. Been on it 4 times with my 5th in 2 weeks. Have you even been on the ship?
@@seanras1965I was just on the Margaritaville over Xmas and it was our first ever cruise, and we had an absolute blast. And this comes from a guy that isn't normally interested in "all in one" type traveling.

Awesome Review. I've been on the Paradise a few times and happy to see the renovations.

I think it’s all about the mindset you go in with and realizing that it’s definitely a budget cruise, but I think it was a great value

I was on islander
Was surprise
The trip was great
I’ve heard fantastic things about the Islander. Especially for a 25-year-old trip for the cost is. I can’t wait to do it.

Do they have a blow dryer in the room? Can you get off the ship in the Bahamas without a passport?
yes and yes
@@seanras1965 thanks 😊
I've seen way more than 18 people in that pool! LOL

He said he had a great cruise . I'm all for it than
I am thinking you are speaking from your own personal bias, instead of personal experience. Am I right?
I’ve been on many carnival cruises and this looks better than carnival LOL minus the screaming children.

Doesn’t seem that bad. Maybe a little average but not so bad.
