It’s a core activation exercise rather than a lat one. I perform the McGill Big 3 then 4 sets of 5 reps with the uneven bar to get my core ready to deadlift.
Looks like the sbd belt with a re designed buckle. The buckle on the sbd belt can clip your legs when you bend over for deadlifts. Used to get bruises. One of the reasons I sold mine.
@@andrewharris3417definitely an sbd belt. I zoomed in on the back to verify. I should have been more specific and asked about the buckle itself. I use an inzer with the pioneer pal lever for squats and dead’s.
Great video but 1 thing not on you but christ that gym has some crap music fair play to you being able to get motivated with that crap playing in the background
Motivation comes from within. You can’t always have the perfect music when you lift in competition. I have had periods of lifting in silence in the past. It’s a very good tool to have to focus on the lift itself and ignore everything else around you.
