The worst part about the Zoo remake in Cold War was that you don't get the full original map layout. They blocked off several areas with metal barricades which really confuses me because one of the areas looks partially created. What's the point of doing that?
I rather loved Showtime. The slight expansion happened partway through the match, but it was still small enough to keep the shipment experience intact. The rest I can agree on.
I was actually happy to see Zoo make a return in CW. It's one of those maps that people tend to forget about, which was a nice breath of fresh air to see an old map that didn't get played much or thought of make a return.
I love having remakes but not as the primary source of post launch content. They used to be a nice addition in a set of new original maps. Now, we get more remakes than anything else in games with barely any original content to begin with.
I will agree with anyone who loved the COD WW2 shipment because that map was really good for a shipment map especially with the large amount of spawn protection
they remade zoo with the intent of it being used as a major part of one of the areas of their new Ural mountain warzone map (that never happened) so it just ended up being a multiplayer map with an expanded version in zombies outbreak

It really depends tbh. Sometime the chaos is fun, but it’s super repetitive when it’s every single match, the new one at least depending on the mode slows it down the majority of the time but once you get a chopper gunner it turns chaotic
Nobody ever mentions the Ghosts free map, it was all blue and I’m sure it was a remake of something - even if it isn’t I believe it’s not been mentioned much/at all in these rankings, absolutely awful map! Skyfall or something I’m sure it was named
With black ops 6 coming later, I really hope they just don’t remaster maps anymore. I need brand new content. Last cod for me if we get copy paste maps.

iw coud have easily just taken the mwr backlot and ported it over to mw2019 yes i'm use they would've had to change how the map plays in the new engine and play style of the game but everyone would have been happy dispite it being a lazy port

I never played Texas in vanguard but I loved that map in ww2. I also liked mw19 shipment better than the newest and original. Maps shouldn’t be singular leveled all maps need high and low ground or it’s a useless map to play

Honestly I wish we had the Showtime remake for 6v6 and the normal shipment for Shipment 24/7 in MW22
They need to redo Quarry with a giant bulldozer and Terminal without the airplane.
Showtime was fun as hell, especially on Search, played for hours with my crew way back when.
Say what you want but the 2019 version of Backlot played so well in Search and Destroy

was thinking the same exact thing when that part came up. a lot of MW 2019 maps played good on SND but on respawn game modes they were awful.

I played cold war like 3 times and I actually like the TTK in that game and the little health bar. I wish mw2 implemented that, especially a lower TTK

First change I noticed in Zoo was in the aquarium, there was no water or fish.
