Fun story. Really do guy down your awning at ALL times. My awning was hit by an actual sand tornado on the beaches of NC. Although it was guyed down and survived 50mph winds the previous night, the tornado was too much and destroyed the awning arms. $50 in replacement arms and 4 screws later, the awning was repaired at home easily. Took a proud step back and while taking a picture, a small gust sent my awning vertical while not guyed down and bent the new arms lol. Another $50 and a hard lesson learned later, I give you this pro tip. These are the best awnings you can buy, repairability is on point. Just guy them down. 🙃

@arb4x4 Have you considered using a bolt, washer and lock nut solution to mount the bungies on the aluminum awnings instead of rivits for field repairability purposes?

Do you have universal fittings? I have a 4x4 body armor roof rack.

Maybe silly question, but do you roll up the awnings forward (like rolling up a carpet) or roll it under. I've seen both ways and wonder if there any advantage/disadvantage to either?
With ARB awnings, the awning should be rolled over (like a carpet), so that all the clips and casing align properly.
What is the actual enclosure dimensions?
Im from the US so dont understand the meter and milimeter way of measurement.
