    Should sell well. Scrappee on floats also, maybe, perchance?

    I was wondering if the pendulum effect of the floats gave it stability? Looks great in the air anyway!

      I decided to try the prototype with scale, zero diherdral in both wings to see if there would be a pendulum effect from the floats so negating the need to introduce non-scale +ve dihedral. Thankfully it worked so I don't have to go back to the drawing board!

    Very cool! Is it possible to take off from the water too? Or it "sticks" to the water too much?

    Is my bathtub long enough for landing ? I live on a river so i got to get it .

      If you make the approach from the tap end you could be in trouble, but come in over the far end you should be able to touch down as soon as you're over the water. No bubbles though, that can cause excess drag and end in DiSAstEr!!! LOL

    What transmitter do you use

    Can it take off from the water?

    • @MicroacesTV
      @MicroacesTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It can do Dennis. It needs a little chop on the water to break and a decent battery and a more aggressively pitched prop than that in the video.. Just haven't managed to catch it on camera yet.

      @@MicroacesTV It's not the models fault. All Mode 2 flyers do it.

    • @daveday5507
      @daveday5507 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MicroacesTV Granted it may not be the model. Mode 2 flyers do that anyway. (That should make me popular).

      I use a Spektrum DX6, but the receiver used in the W12 is available for transmitters that use DSMX (Spektrum), S-FHSS (Futaba), D8 or D16 (FrSky) protocols: microaces.myshopify.com/collections/all-in-one-receivers/products/all-in-one-aio-5ch-micro-receiver
