Hey Mograph. Got your Corona series course, are you planning on doing an update for corona 7? It has gotten soooo much better since 2018. If so, could u focus more on material creation? The overview itself was very good, explaining the different materials etc. But a dedicated video for certain materials with variations based on what you know now with another 3 years of experience would be awesome!
Because the fabric materials usually have very dispersed reflections and the falloff in the diffuse slot actually mimics that. So there is no need to have a reflection map to still look realistic. But you can try putting some reflections anyway.
I bought the course and I am really enjoying it. Thank you so much, I hope to see this same tutorial using Vray for 3ds Max as well (Just a wish though).
The satin shader is just anisotropic (circular) reflection... faking that with diffuse will not look good/correct in more realistic scenes. It will also not react to the light position like it should. Certainly would not call it 'hyper realistic'
hi there, i was bout to buy your tutorial, but when i see the 3ds max version of the project files are 2019 version, i considered a bit. I still use 3ds max 2016 version. So if there is any way to have the smaller version of the project files, it would be great. thanks!
I absolutely love this tutorial! Well made! Thank you so much, I can't wait for your next courses!

What about reflections, did i missed something in the video? I am surprised, how can it look that beautiful without any reflection adjustment..
