I have a question how about people been here for over 20 years and they have a family?

    • @CandiceMMartinez

      Low priority.
Priority will be on the 20 million fake asylum seekers who crossed the border in the last four years. They are looting the US Treasury. None of us will be stable if we don't find a way to pay off debt SOON.
Be more afraid of hyperinflation than deportation.

Migrants who have been here for 20 years are most likely tax payers and most likely not on welfare. It would cost more to remove them than to let them stay.
US government works according to costs. A new migrant on welfare is expensive. So they're priority for removal.
A migrant who has been here 20 years and pays taxes isn't costing the US government any money. So they're low priority for removal.
Also, legal immigrants are fine. The deportation is for illegal immigrants only.
Again, established immigrants face the same danger as citizens - hyperinflation. Where will 400 million citizens go if our currency collapses?
We've made the same financial mistakes as Venezuela.

They will have to put them in deportation proceeding through immigration court. It will be expense to do that it will take years for the case to end. Also if the person has been in the US for over 10 years and have minor US citizen children or US citizen spouse, then can apply for Cancellation of Removal in Immigration court. I don't see this group being a priority because it is not the best way for the administration to get to their goal of Mass Deportation.

It shouldn't matter how long you've been here for. You are opening a Pandoras box buy doing so. Whether 1 year or 20 what does it matter

    Hi Lilly
Someone having asylum case administratively closed
Do you think still a high risk?

If you are a legal immigrant with all your paperwork, you will be ok.
If you are undocumented even though you're working and paying taxes and you're not a criminal, they will eventually come after you to be deported.
If a person came to America claiming Asylum and they were not properly processed the legal way, or they crossed the border, they still are considered illegal even if they have been in America for years, they will eventually be deported to thei own country or continent.
If they are waiting on a hearing for thei case, they will have to go by the Wait in Mexico Policy. That policy is legal in America. They will not let them remain in America until their date of hearing. The process could take years!!!

You are stupid GOOGLE IT DUMMY...She is educated and you are not.Yes, the president needs Congress to declare an act of war:
      Declare War Clause
The Constitution's Article I, Section 8 gives Congress the sole authority to declare war. This clause is a central part of Congress's war powers, and the implications of this exclusive assignment are debated.
      War Powers Resolution
