Welcome to the final episode of our Chikmagalur travel series! 🌿🚗 In this video, we continue our journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Karnataka’s most scenic hill station. From stunning viewpoints to historical temples and hidden waterfalls, we explore the best tourist attractions and lesser-known gems that make Chikmagalur a must-visit destination.
We start our day with a mesmerising sunrise at Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest point in Karnataka, offering panoramic views of the misty valleys. After capturing the beauty of the morning sky, we head to Baba Budhangiri, a famous pilgrimage site known for its caves and legends. The journey through winding roads and lush coffee plantations makes the experience even more memorable.
Next, we visit Hirekolale Lake, a serene and peaceful spot perfect for relaxing amidst nature. The reflections of the surrounding hills on the water create a picture-perfect view. After that, we make our way to the Kavikal Gandi Viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the Western Ghats.
To add a touch of adventure, we trek to Z Point, one of the most scenic trekking spots in Chikmagalur. The hike through dense forests and rocky trails rewards us with an awe-inspiring view of the surrounding valleys. On our way back, we take a refreshing break at Jhari Falls (Buttermilk Falls), where the cascading waters create a magical ambiance.
No trip to Chikmagalur is complete without exploring its local food and coffee culture! We visit a traditional Malnad-style restaurant to try some authentic Karnataka delicacies, including Neer Dosa, Akki Roti, and delicious filter coffee. ☕
