Umberto Tozzi- 'Gloria' Music Video [1979]

- In June of 1979, in Italy, Singer and songwriter Umberto Tozzi released his most recognizable song, 'Gloria', which in 1982 was covered by American singer Laura Branigan.
I recreated the original music video in animation form. The original music video was filmed in Sperlogna, Italy during a windy day, presumably in 1979. I have worked on this project since February [of 2022].

Umberto Tozzi genio cantautor Italiano cuanto te admiro maestro las letras de tus canciones son bellísimas,!! En el año 1979 escuchaba muchísimo esta canción por radio Nacional de Chile por ondas cortas esa radio se podía sintonizar muy bien aquí en Argentina.!!

All'epoca d'uscita di questa canzone acquistai il 45 giri e dopo la vittoria a Sanremo con Si può dare di più ho iniziato a collezionare tutti i suoi dischi in ristampa.

Bravissimo! I had the privilege of viewing small snippets regarding this animation. After watching the final version I can tell there are different animation styles throughout. I know that you Chris may deny it but some of these scenes are definitely graphic novel quality.
Having variety makes the video more interesting compared to having a single animation style throughout. Thank you for taking your time to add multiple language lyrics. Umberto's lyrics are incredibly poetic and we'll thought out.
If it is possible to ask for a request can I request Umberto Tozzi's Alleluja se song? No rush.
Hmmm... Interesting. An animated music video for 'Alleluia Se'... I don't think they even filmed a music video for that song, but i'll see what I can do...
@@ImperialMotionPictures Exactly. It is a sort of challenge. A way to let loose your creative juices. So many options (Umberto calm, Umberto dancing, Umberto dancing in church, short views of worldwide lives being changed by music and religion)
It was not untill I read the lyrics to Allelujah se that I realized why Umberto was screaming and singing his heart out. He was touched by the spirit and that is a wonderful reason to sing, dance and rejoice.
