I know that the 'friendzoning' thing is a joke but I sincerely feel that it's the best way to describe the relationship Bestfriend has with Boyfriend. Especially the Korean fandom I feel. I've lived in Korea, as a student and was a Bestfriend and I feel like the hardships were more touchable(?) while I was there. Especially since that time was the long hiatus between Iyah and Obsession. I've literally watched them improve and 'grow up' in the idol society. I've been with them when they had their first win. I've probably seen every stage BF performed. As Boyfriend tells us, it's ok to be a little slow. We're going at our own pace and we'll get there some day. Because in the end the hard work and talent will shine through. And I'll probably be there when our BF becomes the 'popular' idols they deserve to be and I'll know in my heart what the hiatuses felt like for the fans. Starship is really cruel to Boyfriend. They were really popular back in 2013 - 2014 but suddenly what happened? monstaX and wjsn looks more beneficial? Boyfriend's style was really unique in KPOP.
Boyfriend rely more on vocals. Their music is simple and beautiful unlike monstaX more on rap more on powerful dancesteps but the lyrics and meaning of their song is not that good also MonstaX rely on catchy beats and rhythm.
