When I heard about the plagiarism scandals going on for VIXX. I thought it had to be a hoax. Plagiarism is every artists, writers, singers, and composers nightmares. I want to be a writer one day and to just see for myself that someone so despicable could resort to doing just that. THEN go on to bash the artists fansbase??? When you are human you are bound to do something stupid. But I don't know if i can defend someone's way of thought in doing something so low. Yeah there are artists who draw inspiration from other's artists, and composers drawing from other composers, and writers being inspired from other writers. But that's where the line is drawn. Being inspired. To take inspiration and flip it on its head to plagiarize you would have another thing coming to you thinking you would never get caught. When you know, that you know it's not the human thing to do. To take what someone worked so hard to create. I'm talking hours! Hours worth of blood, sweat, and tears being put into their hard work. Does anyone know how long it takes to write lyrics to a song? You have to be in the creative zone. Normally 5 songs are never picked up to the one that is picked as the lyrics to the next new song we get to hear. Do you know how long it takes compose a soundtrack to a song? Days. Again it's that creative zone that is hard to get into. I'm aspiring to be a writer one day. I know how long it takes to write a book. For some people it takes years of work to do just that. When I heard about the plagiarism scandals going on for VIXX. I thought it had to be a hoax. Plagiarism is every artists, writers, singers, and composers nightmares. I want to be a writer one day and to just see for myself that someone so despicable could resort to doing just that. THEN go on to bash the artists fansbase???
When you are human you are bound to do something stupid. But I don't know if i can defend someone's way of thought in doing something so low. Yeah there are artists who draw inspiration from other's artists, and composers drawing from other composers, and writers being inspired from other writers. But that's where the line is drawn. Being inspired.
To take inspiration and flip it on its head to plagiarize you would have another thing coming to you thinking you would never get caught. When you know, that you know it's not the human thing to do. To take what someone worked so hard to create. I'm talking hours!
Hours worth of blood, sweat, and tears being put into their hard work. Does anyone know how long it takes to write lyrics to a song? You have to be in the creative zone. Normally 5 songs are never picked up to the one that is picked as the lyrics to the next new song we get to hear.
Do you know how long it takes compose a soundtrack to a song? Days. Again it's that creative zone that is hard to get into. I'm aspiring to be a writer one day. I know how long it takes to write a book. For some people it takes years of work to do just that. Someone's hard work shouldn't be trampled on as these people are doing.
VIXX deserves better than what they are receiving. I will forever stand by VIXX, and starlights. I know I'm a bit late with my thoughts for VIXX. I also know that my words will be pushed in the jumble of multiple commenters. More than ever now, I wish i spoke Korean so I could write all of this for the members of VIXX: "I know the struggle!
