Excellent Video! Here's a bonus secret for you & everyone else. Turn the mirror knob to the left, and leave it, now when you go into "R" reverse, the mirror will automatically adjust for the best visibility. When you put your vehicle back in "D" drive, the mirror will automatically go back to it's original spot. 😉😉
Wow. This was arguably the best technical teaching video I’ve ever watched! I have a 2023 Sequoia (basically the same dash). This is exactly what I was looking for. I initially didn’t understand the left side of the dash, but you covered it in detail. Love it - great video sir.
I just purchased a 2023 Tundra Pro black with red interior Thank you so much for this great information. It is soo much easier how you explain it vs. the book or trying to figure it out myself. :)
Great video, thank you! I just bought the 2023 limited and was experimenting with all the buttons. Love the new Tundra and your video reminded me to try the different drive modes.
Excellent video! Very thorough. I’m so happy I found this tutorial. I just got my new Tundra and this helped me a lot and saved me tons of time reading my manual. I will be watching this again. Thank you for doing this video! You rock!!!
Just got my 2024 1794 trd tacoma and man it has so many more features then my 2020 Tacoma had. This video even though it’s 2022 it still helped out explaining everything in the truck thanks for this.
Just bought this truck. The TRD pro light button can be turned on by just turning the lights all the way on and having your high beams on. You don’t need to be in 4wd
Your video has provided with more details, and was extremely informative of the vehicle, comparing to what those delivery specialists at the dealerships when buying.
nice, once again Brian you explain well, you keep it simple..........nice upload.......i have a 2021 tacoma sr-5 and i'm considering upgrading to the Tundra.......
Great, Amazing tutorial!!! I learned a lot. My truck is a few days old and I was over whelmed with all of the buttons, not so much now. On a side note has anybody else had problems with the Infotainment screen? it seems it doesn't respond to touch as well as it should or maybe it's my phone when using android car play it like locks up especially with Waze. Thanks again!
@brianruperti Brian, if you ever find a way or an accessory to stop the car from shutting off when opening the door after remote start, PLEASE PLEASE share that!!!
I ordered this beauty on September 2022, I Got it on February 8, 2023, with some extra features, I finished the papers for $91,000. I drove it 5 miles (Five), and it's in the dealer since last night, 9 features require sensors are not working now, I am not happy. Made in America.
Great button tutorial Brian, nice and fully detailed for this awesome truck. You're really one of my best youtubers. From Egypt, sending my greetings for all beautiful USA.
Just had a 2024 TRD Pro in TERRA color that I stumbled upon and got it at msrp which still the price is scary especially with the increased apr even if you have perfect credit. Still made the deal:)
Thanks for the tutorial, just bought the 2024 limited and this is helpful. the only thing that I don't like so far, it is the BSM not beeping when it flashes..I thought it was setting but it seems Toyota does not have audio for BMS. Other than that, I am still getting familiar with the truck.
GREAT VIDEO. But I have a question: For MTS (Multi-Terrain Select), if I choose "AUTO", does it mean I can drive on pavement road (like AWD) using 4H ? The user manual says using "AUTO" under "road condition". Thanks !
Thanks for a very informative tutorial! We recently purchased a 2023 ~ 1794 Thedra, while setting up the Infotainment center it picked up another person setting in the truck. Is there a way to reset the system altogether? I would like to set it showing I am the primary person. Took it to the local Toyota dealer and they said contact 'Toyota'. Thanks!
Is there a way when you turn off the truck the mirrors will fold in automatically ? in the Winter time when parked by the curb, b/c of the snow banks, all vehicles are further away from the curb, And passing cars and trucks will hit mirror to mirror but if it is folded in, there is good chance that will not happen.
Why would my Tundras infotainment always start and open Retuers News when I start the car? I have tried several things to no avail, so Im missing something. I just prefer it to open to my radio favorites and navigation in a splitbscreen and always start that way when I get in the truck. Thanks.
I just got my 2023 Tundra SR5. When I’m in park and move the truck into 4H, I see the 4H icon on the dash flashing, but it never goes solid. If I’m moving it moves to 4H no problem. Any ideas why this is?
Most Toyota trucks will require a little rolling forward to engage that’s what I’ve noticed. I’m sure someone here will dive deeper on the technical stuff.
@@brianruperti I love it man!, it's an amazing truck, i was trying to get the Pro but got the 1974 at msrp instead. The hybrid makes it so much fun to drive. The only thing i dont like is the exhaust sound comes out of the speaker. Any idea how to turn that off?
So I bought a 2023 and have an iPhone, why would you want to subscribe to Toyota maps when I have the iPhone maps? Also thank you for the video, you solved most of my questions in one go. Only thing left I’m confused on is the locking and unlocking of the truck. I know it unlocks when my key fob is near and I touch the handle but do I have to click the lock on the fob every time or are there other ways it locks?
Auto lock seems to only activate on Toyotas that are already parked and were recently unlocked. I don’t think they will auto lock if the car was just turned off and owner forgot to lock.

Does that work for both mirrors or just the left? Or does it depend on which direction you turn the mirror knob to?
@@Sterno90 both mirrors but not simultaneously, it's one or the other only
Nice catch, btw. This is a feature from previous Tundra. I owned a 2019 Tundra 1794 which did the exact as my new 22 1794.
