Java is still way better in PvP. Bedrock pvp feels cheap, buggy, and sometimes in a singleplayer world, you can randomly die. This is probably why there is no hardcore.

Well sorta. Since you can go ahead and get mods and skin packs on bedrock but that for mobile and pc
Edit you can even use older versions of the mods on bedrock if it's not even the same version as the game itself

@sky_lol There called add-ons and personally, I think bedrock is easier to animate mobs than java, so Bedrock also has one of the best animations for modded mobs but Java has the best commands and mechanics.

The fact that you CAN create skins in minecraft bedrock for free
You can actually have custom skins on Bedrock edition. All you have to do is play on either PC or Mobile, have the skin image, go to Classic Skins, then click the free skin, and insert the file.
For the mods, you can pretty much find a Bedrock remake of any mod.

It has more FPS right, but what the hell with dropped item TPS, why they so laggy.
Same with any public server, they just one big LAG. Hypixel even on Skyblock big events works 1000 times more stable. And as a bonus not have any Pay 2 Play. (I'm talking not about moment like extra skyblock profiles or cosmetics. I talking about literally blocking some gamemodes on server until you buy them. I never seen this shit on Java)
Oh and how install Twilight Forest/InvHud+/AE2/BYG/REI/any other mod? And even if you found bedrock mod, it still works only if added to world.
On Pocket Edition, we can use a customized skin also. (Like Java Edition).

@@CosyStrayon console it's forbidden to modify things which is the reason of minecoins to exist and you always cry about it and while that is a good idea, don't get me wrong mojang/Microsoft added that really bad as you can't just publish your texturepack or maps which is in some games like mario maker, dreams and etc.
But overall just having the option to add more content for the game is a good thing especially considering that mojang don't work on most of the marketplace stuff.
In my opinion if java was the game chosen to be the game available on all consoles then you would still have the same issues if not even more

Legacy edition is overrated tbh, sure playing on 2 controllers and some of the mini-game that they added was nice but i still don't think it's the best Minecraft
Also java without mods sucks a lot if it was on consoles then i would never buy it especially considering that they might not even allow you to change versions so things like april fools updates won't be in the game
I like java but i am thankful for bedrock for existing and that's about it you shouldn't just keep yapping about which version is better and be thankful for what you have

In bedrock you can get skins texture packs and mods as well without a price. Mixing the mods together can be a bit iffy though, they can break sometimes.

I like Java more because of shaders, texture packs, the menu, UI elements, and the combat update. Plus there are lots of fun modpacks.

my computer is like 10 years old and while Javas frame rate is slower, bedrock has crashed multiple times and generally has more input lag
basically, in terms of actual game performance and mechanics, bedrock takes the lead, but in terms of the experience and customization, java is ahead by a mile. the only ways to play mods on bedrock are the marketplace or crappy mobile apps to download mods from a sketchy website.

You can make custom skins for bedrock, it's just a bit hard to find the button to import the skin file

@@near5148 I think that on most of the platforms for bedrock there isn’t a real way to get custom maps so for like Nintendo switch Xbox PlayStation there isn’t a file browser to my knowledge so it’s just kinda more difficult though I am sure there is a way it’s just not that easy cuz Microsoft wants to push the store and I always play bedrock but will admit that it is a worse version because of Microsoft. If Microsoft was as pro consumer as notch was when he was making Java edition then we would have the ideal version for sure. I think the biggest thing is that if you like bedrock features then you can mod them into Java but bedrock you can’t mod Java features into becuase it isn’t open source and there is just a crappy scripting for the store which is intentional on Microsoft’s part

@@alfredosauce6049 it turns out, he was wrong. Players have an option between Character Creator skins, marketplace skins or you can import your own. It's also easier to change skins on Bedrock too. Bedrock skins also support transparency so you can be partially see-through. I think java has partial transparency where bedrock doesn't though.
