That's Ghana for you, they will never live and let live. Always bringing themselves down.
If the song had not been a hit, would anyone be out there alleging copyright infringements. It is sad how we are quick to rundown people's success. Very appalling
That song was a hit if you don't know
@@ohenebaboahene3789 but this current one is more successful you know...
Read to understand. Not to comment
He said the song was a hit
@@nanafrimpong2957, sorry but then what I meant was that the original song was hit back then.
you would not be happy so stop saying this
IT'S HIGH TIME PEOPLE DO ENOUGH RESEARCH ON A SUBJECT MATTER BEFORE YOU OUT YOUR OPINION
This why Nigeria is always ahead of Ghana in terms of music, because we are united😂
Which permission. It won't go anywhere. There's no element of melodic similarities
Guess you've heard the current news right??? 😘 Copyright issue is not like any other issue ooo.... you will pay off till till till if the right thing is not done 🥰🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That man er, n'ani so biri no.
Have you heard of sampling and interpolation?
The lawyer is a joke.
😂😂😂😂
Aswear😂
This man isn't serious... this is gospel oo not circular..are we really Christians eeei fighting over copyright
Maybe he’s not a Christian
Hmmm, this country Ghana dieer, na waaaawo.
Awww are we really Christians? That's the question Christians must ask themselves we r all in the field of winning souls for Christ so if your brethren uses something small u used in the same field to get someone for our Lord n Saviour nso aaa that one too be wahala? Boi Judgement Day b3y3 d3 rough!😂
Massa massa
We shouldn't hide behind Christianity and be doing unlawful things. Law is law
Do u mean that we should not obey laws because we're Christians? Tssw
Is this a joke....eeii!!! How is this an issue. SMH
The lady lawyer was ignorant she was talking bias “An interpolation is when you use any portion of lyrics or melody from a copyrighted song that you did not write within an existing composition, original composition, or public domain song.”
He should clear off
That man er, n'ani so biri no.
@@enochgyesi-arthur7035bro sit on your ass and study and stop commenting on under everyone's commit.
Have you heard interpolation and sampling?
It is clear our cute lawyer may nit have an idea about music and it's copyright regulations, aahh well....
is not about words or language, it’s about creativity or crafts, words and language doesn’t belong to anyone and it’s for everyone, but when someone puts words together to make it creative, that creativity becomes the person property, let me ask? how many people can join one word after the other to create something different? everyone can speak words but not everyone can use it to compose songs, so that makes it different, it will be helpful for those who doesn’t understand music or doesn’t know the difference between words and composing should stop comments, because people are exposing ignorance side, because if the group really understands the rules and regulations in music, they could have consulted the man before,
Those saying this is not a copyright infringement should go and do a PROPER research on the cases between the following parties on this same copyright issue
1. The case between Sam Smith and Tom Petty
2. George Harrison and the Chiffons
3. Sisqo and Ricky Martin
Asrobo)kyer3 is an Akan word
Fa wo nsa B3 wo me ni too are normal words the Akans use so why then did Stonebwoy acknowledged Dr Paa Bobo in his song 'Soobolo' ???This is what we are talking about. Team eternity are Christians and they should know better .People should stop being emotional about this and let the team do the needful na Ghanafo) mo p3 saa dodo
Na hwan ba nie

Some people don’t understand copyright laws: first language can never be a copyright due originality of the source he’s not the inventor of the language phrases spoken in languages a subjective to copyright… in a traditional song beat n pattern are considered copyright in this case there no beat or pattern that match in the song
Does Kwame Micky own the bible
Once you declare something is Gospel, you are also declaring that the words, or the ideas contained in the words are drawn from the Bible, and therefore not original; and so no one needs your permission to use the same. This is not circular music.
This is music regardless.
Music has laws brother
This is sheer covetousness and this can only happen when SELF gets a greater hold of you to think you can own everything to yourself. Really! Putting words together to make a meaning has now become a property you own and you think no one is expected to use those words? Big bro, I'm highly disappointed in your envy to seeing the young rise. I don't know but I believe you shd be a Christian and if that is it, then your salvation is questionable. You need to repent and rather apologise to those young ones for bringing your self acclaimed dead lyrics back to live.
Keep the good work Team Eternity, it's your time to shine and nothing will stop you. ✋
This is total stupidity. Look for instance, the song "Aseda", Nacee and King Paluta. Does Aseda originate from Nacee.
Don’t mind that man.
He’s not serious at all
Luck of knowledge my people perish.
Go and sit your ass down and study.
Kwame Mickey has a case, if he decides to proceeds he can win it.
Report and do what needful? How are these songs similar? Please please
They have no case at all!!!😂 Looking for means to make money.
Really??? Dearies there is a latest news concerning this ooo...get the latest news 😘🥰 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think our beautiful lawyer is wrong this time.this is full copyright issue
No it’s not. How can you use one sentence for a copyright infringement. Plus the melodies of the two songs are very different. And as she said, words are not original. I’ve heard certain lines of words in many different songs.
Don't mind her
Why should Christians be contending with copyright. Is it not the same bible or God. Fake people. Even if is a stolen song it was sang by team eternity very well. Congratulations to them
These are the things that are killing Ghana gospel music industry, because most people don’t take time to learn how to create or compose their own songs or music, they mostly use old songs of others and add some words to it or remix, when you talk about it, people will start insulting you saying Akan language is the same, until people start to learn how to compose songs and learn how to create their own rhythms this is not going to stop because many people don’t know the difference between a musician or composer and singer, if you listen to what the lawyer was saying, you will realise that she doesn’t know anything about music, because they can’t take m’ahyia Ewura aah and defe defe for you to say it has nothing to do with the defe defe song because that’s is the formation or the chorus of the song, is time for
the gospel singer to learn how to create and compose their own songs
Tell them dear, they are just being ignorant.... someone copied someone else's craft and they are there defending the undefendable and adding emotions on top....Ghana's law is not working that's why people take things like these for granted
Massa get lost okay! The two songs are completely different from all angles of comparison. The only similarity is the "defe defe". And who owns the word defe defe in twi? Is defe defe the bonafide property of that Micky? Go and sleep okay. You are wasting home sense.
Is "defe defe" a twi word ?
Yes it is a twi word
Lawyer please compare what you are saying with copyright litigations and how they went. I don't think you are right.
She should do more research
I get what the man is saying.
When you look at copyright issues which have happened in the US, he could be right.
Anyways...I dont think Team Eternity intentionally copied the song. It was just a coincidence. Whilst writing lyrics or composing a beat, You can subconsciously be influenced by a song you've heard before (especially in your childhood) without actually realising it.
This is not an excuse for copyright infringement though because it cannot be proven.
Some years ago a young artist released a song and it was obvious he had copied half of the chorus from my dad's hit song from the 90s. My dad did call him out but didn't further pursue it.
Let's see how this thing will go
❤
Massa! Let me have my peace okay! "Defe Defe" is a twi word meaning "to finish a person up completely". This is not copy right issue. Nobody owns twi wordings. Does Micky owns the word defe defe? Let me think with your lack of home sense. Who is Micky, he just want the small hype. The only similarity between the two songs is the "defe defe" which is even not a phrase but a word. So please go and sleep. Period!

Brother I don't agree with you at all. Nobody owns words at all. The Harmonies are not the same. If I was team eternity I'll press charges against Kwame Micky
no you’re wrong, if you press charges, you rather is going to loose because the are rules and regulations in music, what we are talking about here is creativity not words, words are for everyone, but when someone joins words together and makes it songs those words it becomes song or music and that is called composing or creative and for that reason it doesn’t belong to everyone anymore, it belongs to the person who created it, everyone can speak words but not everyone can create songs out of it that’s what makes it different, if fact even beat of a song, you can’t just pick someone beat, you have to consult the owner that is the law, it seems like many people in Ghana doesn’t know that there’s law and regulations about songs and music in Ghana
