The biggest misconception is that military-grade means quality. In fact, military-grade means it was a no-bid contract with a defense company as a favor to get votes in a particular senatorial district. The parts cost 10x as much and last 1/10th as long. Just ask any service member who worked the motor pool. 😂
Meanwhile I own a deuce and a half because it was free (I mean come on who's gonna say no to a free vehicle of any kind) and it's actually really useful for getting around my hunting property when it's muddy. Plus I hardly have to do any work to it mechanically
Surplus Military Vehicle guys are annoying and don't seem to understand that if a vehicle isn't manufactured to federal safety regs, you don't get to license it for road use. At least in WA
RCR: "Gays"
Me: "I'm listening"

how do they not know a dual sport or a diesel klr650 is the post apocalyptic vehicle to have
They watched Mad Max and identified with the wrong character.
These to humvees and LMTV's.
I never see a actual veteran own one of these.
Deuce and a Half 😂
Yeah but I've always wanted a 6 by 6 to turn into an off-roader
Still want one of those 6 by 6
