Highlights of our participation in New Jersey Audubon's World Series of Birding, 2023

Saint Vincent College fielded two teams of students, faculty, and alumni to compete in the World Series of Birding, organized by New Jersey Audubon. This video shows highlights of our trip, including the days of scouting before the actual competition day. The competition lasts for exactly 24 hours on a single day in early May. Various teams of hobbyists and professionals document all the bird species they can find from midnight to midnight. Our two teams did not place in our division (Cape May County), but the experience was great, and instills in our students a love for learning, for birds, and for the friendships that grow through time shared together.
