I heard same thing. We must’ve watched the same video. Wondering if they are looking for Tank
Pleasure John! Not uncommon for pride males to move into the extended homerange. If they have pride separation and multiple litters of cubs the extended homerange becomes like a buffer for the pride lands. Not impossible that the H5 lionesses could’ve attracted them to. In the world of mature male lions it’s all about propagating their own genetics 🧬

These boys will smack you into another spectrum that’s for sure. My radars are tuned in to find tank. Even if I can only relay a message. Il only consider photographic evidence. Not interested in rumours whatsoever.

@@cs-wildcam I didn't know it's been that long since a TANK sighting. Has the big fella ever been gone this long ? 4 months is a long time but it doesn't seem that long though since the last time I saw TANK . It doesn't sound very encouraging but hopefully TANK shows up and surprises us. TANK wasn't in great shape to be out alone but these are animals and they don't have reasoning so his actions need not to be pondered

Christol a question for you, why doesn't Kruger Park officials allow you guys to use drones in the park specifically? I only can imagine the lions in Kruger that have never been seen which is the beauty of nature but being a lover of lions boy would I love to see them all lol
I wish Dionell! Unfortunately because of poaching it is not permitted in the park. I’ve asked some of the park staff and apparently I could be allowed if an anti poaching guy comes with me. Hopeful that it could happen in the future🤞🏻can you imagine 🤩

I believe it was said 1600 lions reside in Kruger. Kruger is the most populated park in Africa ,right. Please work on getting a anti poaching ranger to accompany you one day.

Epic sighting ,It's always great to see huge male lions. I think the male lion is the most iconic animal and these two boys' huge size reminds me of the legendary Black Dam Male from Timbavati.
OH MY GOSH!! Christof you have gotten the best footage EVER of the Gomos!! You just made my week. Just wish my boy Tank was with him. Supposedly, Splitnose and Blondie were found way out of their territory on the H5. Wonder if they are looking for Tank?? Supposedly a ranger had a sighting of Tank over 2 weeks ago. I know a content creator is gonna try and scout out the Shishangeni concession for Tank. I’m guessing that’s the area he was seen. Idk how true all of this is though. Anxious for another sighting of ZaZa. I just can’t believe the sighting you had with the Gomos. Is Splitnose really the beast everyone says he is?? I know he’s proly much bigger in person. This was a good one Rachelle, really enjoyed myself😄 happy you enjoyed this one. Still work in progress! Not sure about the info above but one thing I’ve learnt over the years is to only trust photographic evidence that can give a clear indication of a whisker pattern. Otherwise it remains rumours that get folks overly excited for no reason. Related brothers can have such a resemblance that it becomes confusing and the rumours can lead to misconceptions of who is who and where. Only time will tell I guess but I’m happy to wait for a clear image to compare and not come to any conclusions yet. Saw an image of Zaza with the Vurhami lioness and her cubs close to lollipop loop just missed him yesterday 🤦🏻♂️
Split-nose is a very big male lion no doubt! Don’t think he is the biggest ever in the KNP🤔
Will be in the lookout and see what I can find out because I would also love to put this puzzle together

Christof, you have done it again! You can tell even through the screen, how excited everyone is to see Splitnose and Blondie again! It will be interesting to see how Zaza and his brothers react when they realize their fathers are back with the Vurhamis. Hopefully Zaza doesn’t get a beating from his fathers again, it’s been quite some time so hopefully he has learned his lesson! Cheers Christof 🍻 I can’t wait for the next episode! 🦁
Damn Peter this was a cool sighting of them being so highly mobile! Unfortunately the excitement didn’t come without its niggles. Small crash as some folks reversed into each other. These boys can cause some serious lion fever almost like a Tuna run can make ski boats go crazy😂 good that you mentioned how Zaza and brothers would react. They are more east of the main rd these days when they are with the females. These two pride males are consistently leaning towards the west. Bet Zaza has learnt how to stay out of their way ever since.

The problem was that ZaZa was getting close to the Hippo Pools Pride where is isn’t welcomed and posses a threat to their young cube and females. They tolerate him and his brothers with Vurhamis. Vurhami Pride is their home pride and the females are strong and won’t let him mate with them or kill any younger lions. It’s basically his Mom, Aunts and Sisters…Big Difference between the two
@@terrencejackson1824 very true thanks for adding Terrance! The hippo pools pride according to what I’ve heard is relatives of the Vurhami pride that broke away years ago. Which is normal for big prides. This causes the overlap of natal territories which could spell trouble for sub adults reaching sexual maturity if pride males pivots between the two. To conclude I think Zaza is ripe for leaving the area to become properly nomadic.
