    I bought a clippers season tix...but seems like it's cheaper to buy from 3rd party when I calculate them.

      What about the playoffs tickets?

      Right, I don't understand how these tickets are for resell but listed cheaper than arena prices

      For the playoffs, I got my tickets for about 1/3 to 1/4 of the face value. My Nuggets Finals tickets in my season seats were $270, but the face value was around $990.

    Hey Dave I’m thinking of becoming a member of the spurs I just moved down to San Antonio. I’m thinking 10 games for weekends I’m wondering is parking including with that? How many tickets are included?

    • @davechung
      @davechung  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Good question! Parking usually isn’t included, but it should be able to be an add-on with your tickets. The number of tickets and parking passes would be up to you.

    I've been a season ticket holder for the Sacramento Kings for almost three seasons now and the only free item they have given me is a fanny pack and a pin. They gave me tickets to a AAA baseball game in the worst seats possible in the sun, basically the seats that nobody buys. I'm a basketball fan, not a baseball fan.

    • @davechung

      Oh man, that sounds like my experience with NFL season tickets. I got nothing but a 2-win season. It varies so much by market, but I’m surprised that the Kings don’t do more for you guys since it’s not a giant market!

    I tried to purchase season tickets for section 110/116 or court side they said unavailable which I get but told me I would have to purchase any tickets in level 2 or three to get on some kind of wait list. I guess I'll have to continue purchasing through gametime

    Im a season ticket holder for the Kings. Ticketmaster doesn't technically take a cut. They add their fee to your list price. For example you list your tickets for $100, that's what you get but the buyer pays a fee to Ticketmaster when they check out. Also, you do have to pay taxes at the end of the year on your sales so you have to take that into account as well. In Sacramento I can sell any ticket for a profit but you don't make a bunch of money except for big name games like the Lakers or Warriors and obviously playoff games. With the Kings they let you buy extra playoff tickets at face value before the public so you can re sell those extra seats. I don't know if it's the same for every team.

    • @davechung
      @davechung  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for adding the Kings info! The markets are definitely very team-specific! Side note: I do NOT want us to play you guys in the first round!

    How much more popular did the Nuggets get after the '23 season?

    • @davechung
      @davechung  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Much more popular! 🏆 But ticket prices went up over 20%, which still left single game tickets available, so the prices made it so we couldn’t reach extreme popularity in the city.
      This post-championship season was the first I know of where season tickets were sold out, but just one year and second round exit later, there are season tickets available again for next season 😭

      I bet it depends on the team. Sadly the Nuggets have gone to all digital tickets. I framed one set of my Rams season tickets, and I wish the Nuggets still had a physical ticket unveiling, even just for souvenirs.

    Do u still get access to your seats for playoffs if you only do the 10 day weekend plan. How does it work when it comes playoff time are your seats more expensive ?

    • @davechung
      @davechung  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great question! For the Nuggets, if I remember right, I think you get access slightly earlier than the general public when you have any kind of package - worth asking a rep!
      For season tickets, I just get my same seats. They price the tickets per round for the playoffs (more expensive the deeper the team goes), but those are really easy to make money from if you don’t go yourself.

    Which is better between last row in the corner but the lower level or first row upper level but you are center court? Debating if I want to give it a shot for next season.

    • @davechung
      @davechung  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think the lower level is easier to sell, and I like being closer to the court for games. It feels a little more like you’re in it!

    How to inquire or to get in the season tickets. Im trying but I don’t know how to start to get a season ticket.

    • @davechung
      @davechung  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’d start with your team’s website. There’s probably a tickets section with links to get connected with a season ticket rep. Depending on your team, they might be sold out since the season is starting soon, but it’s worth looking!

    Can you sell the ADA seats in 379. They are the folding seats.

    • @davechung
      @davechung  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Dennis! That’s a great question. I just looked at the next few games, and I didn’t see any tickets on sale from resellers, so they might not be sellable. It’d be a great question for a season ticket rep to know for sure!

    How do playoff tickets work for season ticket holders

    • @davechung
      @davechung  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For the Nuggets, there are two options to get “your seats” for the playoffs.
      You can pay as you play, round by round. If you’re the home team, they’ll charge you for 4 games at a time (or 3 if you’re away), and then refund any that aren’t played.
      Or you can buy the full playoff strip all at once, and they’ll refund any games that aren’t played.
      Just depends on how you want to budget, but those tickets are heavily discounted in your season seats.
      I’m also able to get up to 6 additional tickets per game on a first come, first serve basis at face, which makes them about 3x more expensive than the ones I get with my season tickets. I rarely buy those.

    What is a price range for 10 games versus a season ticket?

    • @davechung
      @davechung  ปีที่แล้ว

      For us, the price per ticket was a few dollars higher (not by a lot), but the big savings was of course only buying a quarter of the tickets.

  • @AccountabilityFit
    @AccountabilityFit ปีที่แล้ว

    When buying more expensive seats like court side or section 16, etc. are there extra incentives you can negotiate? They come with benefits, but can you negotiate extra benefits since the seats are expensive?

    • @davechung
      @davechung  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For the really expensive seats, extra benefits come automatically. I think in previous years, they got a special dinner and Q&A with the GM and other special benefits. I’m not sure what else you can negotiate, but it’s worth a shot! For my seats, my account manager hooked me up with a bag full of swag to get me to close the deal 😂 so I’m sure there’s some wiggle room!

  • @OneCreated

    Wait i just put 500 dollar deposit for the denver nuggets, what is the price per game or is it just a pay upfront for access to all 44 games. Got the 100 level tickets

    • @OneCreated
      @OneCreated ปีที่แล้ว

      Also is it regular season only or playoffs too

    • @davechung
      @davechung  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s variable pricing based on the opponent and day of the week. It’s only for the regular season, but you’ll have access to your same seats for the playoffs at much better prices than face. You can choose to pay as they play or pay for full rounds at a time (unplayed games are automatically refunded).

    can i make profit off season tickets such as lakers or dodgers tickets ?

    • @davechung
      @davechung  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely depends on how the team is doing (playoffs are huge!), what seats you get, and where you live. It’s much easier to turn a profit when a team is playing well and selling out every game.

    • @thebest545
      @thebest545 ปีที่แล้ว

      The tough part with trying to turn a profit off of season tickets is that everyone wants them while the team is good. That normally means you need to get in while the team is bad and hope they turn it around quickly. If you enjoy the team in your market and plan on going to a lot of games then go for it. Then any profit will be a bonus.

      Now I know your tickets were not super expensive but still an investment, do they offer you a payment plan or you pay in full? Or how does that work ? Also have you ever had any trouble selling any of the tickets? Or are there rules or a reason why you couldn’t resell ?
