@houseofroos OK that is a cool ScootScoot! But a bit overpriced for it. If it was under $7k I would consider it. My Royal Enfield 650 was $6500 and it's amazing for long rides and has plenty of power.
After the clutch and variator kits have you tried to top out the speedometer? I wanna know whats the fastest yuve gotten it to. I have a 300 downtown 2012 and ive broken 90 with no upgrades
Cool vid! Thanks. I really want to make the xtown 300 work for freeway driving. I’m 185lbs. Don’t know if I would be barely pushing it (top speed wise on the freeways where we go 80/85mph) for a 30-40 mile trip or if I should just look for a higher cc scooter. I love the price of this one.
How is the bike with a passenger do u think u can hit the highway with a passenger with speed limits 60 to 65 for maybe 10 to 15 miles thank u so much for the review
@@PincheALsGarage thank u so much I wanna get this bike for summer use so I got super excited when u said it's comfortable this will be my first bike as well and I don't think I'm gonna get another one do you think this bike is good for road trips nothing more than 2 hours this is gonna be for summer weekend adventures
@Connie Gamble yes this bike will be perfect for long rides. The longest I been on it has been about 3 hrs and did not have any lower back pains or bad discomfort
KYMCO started out in Taiwan and still build some models there...but they also have factories in China...I bought a 2023 300xtown and yes it WAS MADE IN CHINA...I also have a KYMCO Agility 125 I bought new in 2007 and IT WAS BUILT IN TAIWAN and it still runs great....on the 300xtown my complaint is side/kickstand is so short(caused me to fall with it as I was getting off) and windshield is not tall/high enough, I bought an exstension...SUPER BIKE THOUGH cost $6100.00 after shipping, dealers fee taxes ect FUN BIKE!

@@PincheALsGarage thank you so much I’m getting it installed next week I have the 2023 I have only hit 76 top but I heard the multivar 2000 can give you closer to 80 so I was just curious
But higher acceleration is nice as well I ride on the interstate daily to and from work so I was kinda hoping for the 5mph boost as well but knowing that I can get up and go is reassuring as well
Depends on your needs Just around town get the Honda. If you need to get on a highway or need passing speed get the Kymco. The Burgman is ok looks on it is very dated
Long distance ride the Xtown is way comfortable than the 2, I was able to hit 160-162kph for at least 5-10 seconds using 20 in weights we call here in the Philippines bola😂.
Way too light on the rollers. Sliders that were maybe two grams lighter but not five or six grams less. I'm sure it's quicker off the line but that will severely eat into your top speed and cruising speed.
@@PincheALsGarage Ive owned more kymcos than u have had hot dinners. Ive NEVER seen one made in China. Hey have you seen the new kymco CV-R5 2025 model? now thats a bike!
I acknowledge that this unit is not Chinese and understand its from Taiwan. The quality still not the best. After 4000 miles parts started to break. I will be explaining more with a video.
I rode mine 360 miles last Sunday. Very comfortable and no problems.
I have a 2018 Xtown still loving it, still, also it's a Taiwan scooter not Chinese. 😂
How many miles do u have on it so far. What’s your top speed.
The ones in the US are made in China.

It's not Chinese people who make them have made Honda parts forever
It’s not a Chinese scooter. It’s made in Taiwan.
if you google it you will realize no country call taiwan, even taiwan official name is china
I have one and have some many long distance trips with it. It’s a great scooter for the highway.

My local Kymco dealer told me that Kymco made BMWs scooters.
The BMW C400 GT engine is made by Kymco 100% true

Get heavier variator weights and the scooter can do 80+ mph
What is your top speed after your upgrades. I just bought this bike 5 days ago can’t do a top speed I’m still in brake in period.
Is a day light in front to the mirror or signal lights?
Signal lights

I don't know I never had a passenger on it but it does 65mph without blinking an eye up a hill so to me it should do it fine with a passenger.

Did you ever change the halogen headlights out with LEDs? If so which did you use? How did it work out? Perhaps a video would be helpful 😃
Use h4 socket led lights color white with high and low beam
