@drewj1946 Not exactly. Being lifelong residents of the area, we knew the perfect place to catch it and simply obey the speed limit, giving all who want to ample room and opportunity to pass. Plus we'd been waiting literally our whole lives for a Gorge doubleheader, so we weren't about to just watch it zoom past once. Go big or go home empty handed. We always chase with a wheel man and a driver, and usually more passengers. And FYI, I use my feet to jack off.
On the return trip, 700 and 4449 travels through The Columbia River Gorge on The Burlington Northern Santa Fe's Fallbridge Sub.
