Welcome to the cosiest holiday cottage to enjoy winter cottagecore hobbies! I am so glad you're joining me today and taking this time to wind down.
❄️ Among snow-covered trees and meadows, there is a cosy little cottage. From time to time, the owner needs to run errands in the city and offers her home as a holiday retreat. But before she leaves, she fills her place with comfort and lovely details for her guests. 📔🍪🍯🌰🧺🍞

What a wonderful place to spend the weekend. Especially with you 😘
How lovely! This video make me remember when, as a very young girl, I worked just like this, preparing old cottages from the 17th century in a huge forest (a National park) for guests, we also helped in the kitchen and the bakery and looked after the sheep and as I started to work there in late winter, early spring a new lamb was born almost every night. There was also a small chapel there, as old as the cottages, and in April that year we had a wedding and the bride was dressed in traditional dress, wearing her long braids as a crown (not white dress, folklore dress) It was a happy time!
Ohh my!! That would my DREAM JOB, Henrietta!! I almost jumped from my chair while reading this, I got so excited picturing it all. I am sure it wasn't an easy job, but I've been a bookkeeper for the last 15 years.. so this sounds something I would enjoy much more, hehe... and the way you described it made me want to be there!!
It was, in many ways, a free job. Lots of time in the outdoors. Some days it was less to do so we could explore the ancient forest around us. Some days we worked from early morning to late evening, very hard. But hard work is good for body, mind and soul! I liked it there, the nature was like a fairy tale and the whole place very peaceful. For the wedding I wrote about above the flowers never came so we had to get out in the forest and pick as many little white Anemone nemorosa we could find and then make her bouquet and all the decorations in the chapel and the tables from those little spring flowers. Made her look like a folklore dream. yes, many happy memories. We also learned to comb and spin wool by hand. I am grateful for my time there. One day you may very well have your own little place...preparing for guests...giving them beautiful memories and at the same time making memories for you too...@@thecottagelibrary
Ohh my, how wonderful!! I am fascinated and transported by your story. And I know hard work in the countryside can be hard, be I agree that in many cases it is good for body and soul. I worked picking and packing fruit some years ago. Sometimes we would work 20 days in a row, for 10 or 12 hours a day... I was full of bruises, but you know what, I was healthier than the years I worked as a bookkeeper. My mind was free, my chest was free of stress and worries. So I guess it has also to do with my nature and preferences, but yeah, I can imagine it being rewarding, even when it was hard. 🤎

How peasefull you cook , you bake , in my life everything is on a hurry , and I must do enything quickly, . That's why our lives are so stressefull. Im 49 and live alone. Im struggling with menopause so on certain days I can't deal with people or I just need silence. So to have your videos to watch with a cup of tea in the early morning while imagining Im there has been healing. Sometimes I wonder if I lived this life before its so joyful for me. Lovely Indoora. You are very clever. It all looks so real. I can almost look out a window and see your snowy forest. What happens to all the food etc. Do friends come and help you eat it?
Thank you so much 🤗 that little cottage is actually like a place for storage or electricity located in my town, but adding a fake window to my scene and the filming snowy places makes it feel all the same place. Sometimes I even use footage from different countries 😂 unfortunately I don’t have any friends or family where I live (I’m originally from Uruguay) and moved recently to a new town within Germany. Sometimes I share with neighbours but otherwise I eat it myself for several days 😊🫣
