I think the BEST compliment I've ever gotten was Sophomore year of Highschool in physics. One of my tablemates, a man who was usually a dick, said I had anime hair and it reminded him of Naruto and DBZ characters. The rest of the table agreed, I had the hair of anime character and I was BEAMING it was such a surreal experience. I will never forget that 😭

Very nice! I always get happy when I see women of color, especially darker complected women, and women with coarse hair, wearing different colors of hair. There's a stigma that goes against that and personally, I think vibrant colors on black women look great.

I been braiding my hair out of pure boredom for the last days and i
just couldn't stop imagining how magical you would look with pastel pink box braids
People keep saying "stuck" at home and I'm over here in heaven lol I've almost always worked from home and generally get upset when my friends insist on meeting for lunch *sighs* so I kind of feel sorry for people who are busy bodies.
*Did not expect anyone to like or comment on this lol but for all the people wondering, I work as a literary editor for a book publishing company. So I basically read all day and send emails to authors. That’s why I’ve worked at home 90% of my career*

I loved the results on your hair, it makes me want to give wax a try! And if you need a new anime to watch, I beg you to try Dr. Stone if you haven't yet, it is worth all the hype lol And a watch along would be so cooooool Idk what anime movies you like but I would watch anything lol .... A Silent Voice on Netflix was great, I've seen the Inuyasha movies but they're kind of old. I've seen DBZ movies too but they're also a little old. Naruto movies are amazing, I think there was a Haikyuu movie? Maybe? I don't remember but a watch along sounds awesome!

i love you so much starpuppy. you make me feel so normal with hair. its just i see so often things going perfect and those Instagram hair girls never show when they mess up in the style. but your real you show us when things don't go well and you show us when things go great (like this pink hair) you make everyone here feel like not failures because we aren't alone in our mistakes. and i love you for that.
Yassssss shine thruuuuu starrrrr 😍 Heavy waxes, grease and gels Like the clear wetline Xtreme gel or the blue magic coconut grease or better yet the Africa’s best Grow Strong Triple Action (a grease alternative) work sooo good with my low porosity 4 type hair. I do the LCO method wit WARM water then seal the moisture in with heavy waxes. My best braid outs are when I twist/ Bantu knot or roll the ends. Something about curled ends just completes every look for me. My hair could frizz like a cotton ball everywhere else but if my ends is still curlyyyy... Issa look 💁🏽♀️💅🏾

I never tried the wax but my sister (who has fine strands 4b/c hair) says it's a great styler because it weighs down her fine strands and gives her more stretch, definition and volume. Great look. Thanks for sharing.

You should try a “finger coil OUT “. With a leave in conditioner, cream, then a gel. Let it dry then separate the coils.
