The issue with gaga is that as talented as she may or may not be her music sounds vacuous and strictly shaped by current trends so it feels, like beiber, her ,music won't stand the test of time

I was lucky enough to go to the show in Liverpool last night. I can only say how amazing Noel is as both a songwriter and performer. His songs are simply anthemic and the atmosphere in the venue was fantastic. Every single musician on stage with him was superb. To me he stands head and shoulders above anything or anyone else that I have heard for a very long time.
Met Noel walking along George Street Sydney the morning after their first Sydney gig on 1998.Very friendly, he asked me if the speakers were loud enough.I always thought Liam was up himself and Noel was down to earth, well in 1998 Noel was, not anymore & Liam’s becomes the working class hero.His new album I rate 6/10 Liam’s new personality I rate 9/10 !

He is a better singer now than he was in Oasis back then. OF COURSE the masterplan was a masterpiece by itself but look at those clean high notes and the way he brings it with those beautiful band/orchestra. Wish I were there at that time. I was at his concert this week and this song, live, was absolutely insane.

Man what a show!! I watched this whole DVD the other night whilst staying with some friends of mine and mom's after being run of our home due to a septic pump failure. Whilst there, I was streaming London, UK's Radio X station and heard one of Noel other songs that they were playing and after a few tweets back and forth, I ended up in a Skype conversation with the weekend morning presenters. But before the events of last weekend, I didn't even know that Noel Gallagher had started doing solo work away from Oasis and his younger brother Liam. And by doing so, he is showing his younger brother who the real boss is. During my Skype conversation, I was told that Noel Gallagher's CD was currently number 1 on the UK charts at the moment. Something that is well deserved for Noel as a songwriter. On a side note, the red Gibson guitar that Noel is playing in this concert looks very similar to the one that my late father used to play a lot.
This is the best song he has written, the emotion noel puts into this is song live is......well if you've seen him doing it live you know what i'm on about!
