After some gym time, new Head of Medical Performance Dave Rennie put the players through their paces at the Bears High Performance Centre with the Single Double Test before returning to the Robins High Performance Centre for an afternoon football session with the coaches.

As a Man Utd fan I am so impressed with your club, and the rise with the new owners. Immediately you can tell from the weight room, the coaches the facilities that this is an ultimate high performance club that strives for the best. I really hope you guys have high ambition in the premier league, because that’s what it needs. I’m so tired of clubs getting promoted and the parking the bus for 38 games hoping for 40 points a season. We need clubs with ambition and Brentford are that. Although you may think contrary, not all premier league clubs are preparing like this, and the attention to player fitness, and building athletes is huge.

Wow, ‘out of contract’ players have technically been ‘out of contract’ since today! We’ve been back for preseason officially since Monday & a lot of clubs aren’t back at preseason training yet & we’re already worrying about whether we’re going to have new players coming in?!?
There is plenty of time until this transfer window closes.

@@leenwctv1 There is plenty of time to still get a striker in, the transfer window is open for another month or so yet.
During that time I’m sure we will see players come & go, the way the squad looks at the moment will look very different come the first game of the season.
I just don’t understand the panic on the first/second of July!
