For the shot of the neon lights making out a word, I'm pretty sure it says "E UP 8325", the first part referencing the very well known phrase "East Is Up" while 8325 is referring to the pages from the Clancy Digital Remains booklet pages, which when pieced together made a password that got us the Paladin Strait MV Teaser.

Your reference to 1984 was really interesting. In reminds me of Clancy in his apartment during the Nico and the Niners video. The dark, lonely apartment really reflects the book. Clancy also has a desk where he keeps the yellow flowers from his escape attempts. This is very similar to how Winston keeps things illegal things in his own desk. I'm convinced the connection is on purpose, which isn't exactly super surprising, given that the story is also dystopian. Also, side note: I think George Orwell would ponder a while over the lyric from Bandito: "I'm still not sure if fear's a rival or close relative to truth."
What if the real Clancy is the one seating down the shore and he's not there, and he is just singing the song thinking how he could defeat Nico and imagining how the battle would happen, like "Just a glimpse of visual aid, Of you on the other shoreline, Waitin', expectations that I'm gonna make it" (this part could be about Nico waiting or maybe the banditos waiting Clancy on the other side) like Clancy isn't sure if he's ready to fight Nico and then he's on the shore thinking about it. And it would make sense the fact that maybe he is seizing someone else to get to nico and to be sure he's ready, and in the final moment of the MV of Paladin strait when he open his eyes I got the feeling that now Clancy knows he's ready. And what makes me think that this is accurate is that he tweeted about the shows not being the final battle, the shows will be he preparing for the real battle with the banditos(that in the shows will be us the clique) and after the tour is over either we will be getting another song or the double album.

About the birds space on the original song, Routines In The Night explains it: So beautiful the space between A painful reminder and a terrible dream Just like in this storyline, when he reminds everything he's fighting for which can cause some pain, and the terrible dream that he lives while finding Nico. Also a real event I experiment before sleep, that one minute between my thoughts taking away my life and the nightmares I have all night long.
The bird noises in the song actual have a rlly cool purpose. Because of the extra minute the song was extended, nico says hello clancy at exactly 6:25. Another crazy refrence to june 25th.

Because the two songs last the same amount of time and have similar musical structures, the Chlorine music could probably have made a cool alternative to Paladin strait music for the Paladin strait video.

A theory bc im bored: The "way in they will never suspect" is being used in the PSMV. Overcompensate Tyler is seizing PS Tyler, that's why when nico is smearing him he can open his eyes. My prediction is that if there is something to follow, PS tyler will fall to the ground (just like the kid at the end of overcompensate) and the real fight will happen between the army of red banditos (?) (idk what to call them lol) with Overcompensate Tyler vs the seized dead people that nico controls. Overcompensate tyler was being seized by the outside tyler (if im not mistaken), so i don’t think it’s that version of him seizing PS tyler. in the PSMV we see tyler in the same outfit from the outside and i think that’s a huge detail. he is preparing the antlers (wtv they’re called lol) in that outfit in PS, and we can see him using the antlers in the same outfit from the outside mv, to seize and kill keons. i think that represents in this music video, “the outside” version of tyler is the one seizing the clancy version of tyler. i’m not good at explaining things so i really hope that makes sense 😭

i just wanna point out that when u listen to the album in a loop, it feels like the end of Paladin and the intro of overcompensate feels seamless. and since the audio and melody of the intro is not used in any other place of the song, it could be to continue to the first song in the next album or extended release to signfy the the next leg of war on dema

I had this theory the other day, I tried posting it on Reddit but they didnt let me, I dont know why. SO. In the SAI Era, we learned Clancy is dead and we all took it as, the character Clancy is dead but what if, the album Clancy was dead. Maybe they already had an album in the works after Trench and it was gonna be Clancy, but then pandemic hit, and then SAI happened. So fast forward to now, Tyler saying Clancy is gonna be the most lore heavy but we have heard the album and its like HALF, so what if, all this time that Tyler was saying Clancy is dead its was referring to the album and now he saying that this is the more lore heavy album is because its a double album? Now with the ending of the MV of Paladin Strait, I feel more inclined to this theory. SO TECHNICALLY, he didnt lie, this is the most lore heavy album because its gonna be a double album that will be like an epic ending for the album, but the other set of songs needed more time to be fleshed out so they released part 1 as a full album and then next year we get the truly FULL album with all the tracks and all the ending. Side note: Can you imagine the last album of the story being called NICO. So we get like a clashing album cover? With the Pilots on one Side and Nico on the Other. I’m hoping that if we get another album it centers on the Torchbearer- he’s the only character that hasn’t had an album based on them. Tyler talks about him having powers. He says there are 3 forms of Josh. He drew a triangle while saying these things . All of it strikes me as a metaphor for the Holy Trinity- God in 3 forms, The Father l, The Son and The Holy Spirit. So I ThNk we’ve seen him as the Holy Spirit in Navigating as the Josh who was helping Clancy, but was only in his mind ( or body, like the Holy Spirit. So the form of the Torchbearer, I believe is the son, Jesus. I found this definition of torchbearer- “A torchbearer is a person who leads the way with the light that he carries. Jesus is the light of the world and since He dwells in us, we are to carry Him wherever we go.” So I think we have yet to see the 3 rd form- The Father. Maybe we will see Josh and more of his powers come to help end the battle. Just a theory…

So the Josh album or the Torchbearer album could be the last part of the puzzle. Him going up the tower to save Clancy and finishing the saga once and for all, saving the citizen of Dema in the process.
The minute of birds is just to hide the last part of the song for first time listeners as a surprise. I am 36 - back when we only had physical CDs, some artists would hide songs like 5 minutes after the end of the last song. You’d never know it’s there unless you keep listening. I can think of Alanis Morissette as an example of someone who did this on her Jagged Little Pill album. The music video doesn’t need it because everyone has now heard the ending.
I think the reason the birds aren't in the video is because the story in the song by itself is different from what's shown in the video. The song itself is about leaving Voldsoy to get back to Trench, and then the birds plays while he wakes up on the other side. But the video starts with him having already crossed the straight.
I personally think that the multiple Clancys is a result of a production error. I think they wanted to make the Bandito army look bigger but only had so many actors so they just copy and pasted a couple times in the background, hoping people wouldn’t notice (unaware the clique always looks for hidden details in the background like these).

About the theory of the MV´s of Clancy album don't having the full length album on the beginning of the song, have you guys realized that in the SAI era, every MV has the full length album thing except for Saturday MV, that just say "From the Album Scaled and Icy", could mean something, could mean nothing lol. In the middle where the sun looks like it's making an eye, beside tyler on mountain. Also, same mountain scene but at 3:41 think, lol..near here, on far right side in bright yellow looks like numbers 124. Finally, tyler appears to be pointing to this sun, and in last scene, outside the window is blue sky? But wasn't it dark with torches, lightning, and I'm wondering if he's implying they waited until just before dawn and now the sun's up when Nico has Clancy, Clancy also still has the rope on his hip? After thinking on this for a night and reading, a poem called de ave phoenice , which is a subtle reference to christ and resurrection, the poem in English could apply so well, and actually kinda says east is up, I'm truly thinking at 3:12 in paladin strait mv, that it's trash's head, next to not a vulture of but a Phoenix with the waterfall being the tail. There's also other odd things in the tail and just all over this mountain scene

Someone gave the theory that this is a reoccurring lucid dream/nightmare for Tyler and Clancy is is “avatar” in this nightmare. The birds in Paladin straight signal morning approaching but he’s gotta stay asleep a little bit longer to get to Nico. There’s more to it and need to find this persons name to give credit for this theory but it makes so so much sense.
I like this theory. It would make sense to the lyrics of “Routines In The Night” same with the music to it. In Heavy Dirty Soul when the car is driving you see him fall asleep and wake you multiple times.

Hello, my friends from "bandito camp" and I came up with a theory Clancy deceived the bishops like fools, but how? Let's pay attention to the fact that the real Tyler/Clancy has a scar on his nose. This scar essentially hints at the lore: "Hey viewer, check the lore has arrived!" But there is another explanation for this! Remember the clip for "Overcompensate"? Throughout the clip, Clancy walks around without a scar, and sometimes without a mask. The real Tyler/Clancy uses the “seizing” move! Everything we saw during the clip was just a narration from Tyler’s point of view; in fact, he was using the corpse (or vessel) of some noname! To remain anonymous, the vessel wore a mask the whole time. We only saw a picture from the narrator Tyler, where he appeared cool without a mask and without a scar. At the end of the clip, we see the real Clancy/Tyler moving away from the “seizing” state, and he has a scar on his nose. So that's what all this is about, and it explains the events in the "Paladin Strait" video where Clancy/Tyler does the same thing, fooling the bishops. And that's the irony! What does Niсo say? "Hello Clancy." But in fact, there is no Clancy there! Another suspicious point from the "Paladin Strait" video is the horns. Why is Tyler whittling them? Great content as always. My only comment would be your stating that the torchbearer was the mastermind behind what happened in the Outside; actually, we know now that he was never there. The real torchbearer hasn't seen Tyler/Clancy since the Levitate music video. All SAI videos AND overcompensate were the two other torchbearers that Clancy made up in his head to help. Tyler mentioned in the livestream that there are three, but only the bandito one is real, which we learned in Navigating.
The Clancy album will be also known as the falsetto album to me. Paladin Strait needed a bit more punch and aggression. It was a bit too soft rock folky for me. Wish it had way more grit, like Jumpsuit or Levitate. What are your thoughts?

Nice breakdown. I'd like to think this is not the end. While it would make sense if it ends with a cliff hanger, as mental health struggles can be life-long, I'd like to think Tyler breaks the cycle. That would give hope to so many. If Tyler can break free, so can I. We all need a super hero to guide the way and save us. Josh Dunn and Tyler Joseph are that for so many, I'd like to see a happy ending.
Wouldn't it be something if Tyler/Clancy is no longer afraid. Josh ran in "the front door" to help defeat Nico. Because the two songs last the same amount of time and have similar musical structures, the Chlorine music could probably have made a cool alternative to Paladin strait music for the Paladin strait video.

The "way in they will never suspect" is being used in the PSMV. Overcompensate Tyler is seizing PS Tyler, that's why when nico is smearing him he can open his eyes. My prediction is that if there is something to follow, PS tyler will fall to the ground (just like the kid at the end of overcompensate) and the real fight will happen between the army of red banditos (?) (idk what to call them lol) with Overcompensate Tyler vs the seized dead people that nico controls.

Overcompensate tyler was being seized by the outside tyler (if im not mistaken), so i don’t think it’s that version of him seizing PS tyler. in the PSMV we see tyler in the same outfit from the outside and i think that’s a huge detail. he is preparing the antlers (wtv they’re called lol) in that outfit in PS, and we can see him using the antlers in the same outfit from the outside mv, to seize and kill keons. i think that represents in this music video, “the outside” version of tyler is the one seizing the clancy version of tyler. i’m not good at explaining things so i really hope that makes sense 😭

This lyric was all I could think about during the closing sequence. What I'm thinking is "I'll be right there" infers that Clancy is not there, at the top of the tower with Nico. But he will be. Nico knows that the Clancy he has in a chokehold is a decoy, and is mocking him with "Hello, Clancy." Almost to say I see that you are a coward hiding behind a copy.

I’m thinking the moment of silence might be significant during the live show. Knowing these guys, they do everything for a reason, so there’s gotta be some kind of significance to it.
I had this theory the other day, I tried posting it on Reddit but they didnt let me, I dont know why. SO. In the SAI Era, we learned Clancy is dead and we all took it as, the character Clancy is dead but what if, the album Clancy was dead. Maybe they already had an album in the works after Trench and it was gonna be Clancy, but then pandemic hit, and then SAI happened. So fast forward to now, Tyler saying Clancy is gonna be the most lore heavy but we have heard the album and its like HALF, so what if, all this time that Tyler was saying Clancy is dead its was referring to the album and now he saying that this is the more lore heavy album is because its a double album? Now with the ending of the MV of Paladin Strait, I feel more inclined to this theory. SO TECHNICALLY, he didnt lie, this is the most lore heavy album because its gonna be a double album that will be like an epic ending for the album, but the other set of songs needed more time to be fleshed out so they released part 1 as a full album and then next year we get the truly FULL album with all the tracks and all the ending.
Side note: Can you imagine the last album of the story being called NICO. So we get like a clashing album cover? With the Pilots on one Side and Nico on the Other. Man that would be SICK. but just my opinion.
I’m hoping that if we get another album it centers on the Torchbearer- he’s the only character that hasn’t had an album based on them. Tyler talks about him having powers. He says there are 3 forms of Josh. He drew a triangle while saying these things . All of it strikes me as a metaphor for the Holy Trinity- God in 3 forms, The Father l, The Son and The Holy Spirit. So I ThNk we’ve seen him as the Holy Spirit in Navigating as the Josh who was helping Clancy, but was only in his mind ( or body, like the Holy Spirit. So the form of the Torchbearer, I believe is the son, Jesus. I found this definition of torchbearer- “A torchbearer is a person who leads the way with the light that he carries. Jesus is the light of the world and since He dwells in us, we are to carry Him wherever we go.” So I think we have yet to see the 3 rd form- The Father. So the Josh album or the Torchbearer album could be the last part of the puzzle. I am 36 - back when we only had physical CDs, some artists would hide songs like 5 minutes after the end of the last song. You’d never know it’s there unless you keep listening. I can think of Alanis Morissette as an example of someone who did this on her Jagged Little Pill album. The music video doesn’t need it because everyone has now heard the ending.
I think the reason the birds aren't in the video is because the story in the song by itself is different from what's shown in the video. The song itself is about leaving Voldsoy to get back to Trench, and then the birds plays while he wakes up on the other side. But the video starts with him having already crossed the straight.
I personally think that the multiple Clancys is a result of a production error. I think they wanted to make the Bandito army look bigger but only had so many actors so they just copy and pasted a couple times in the background, hoping people wouldn’t notice (unaware the clique always looks for hidden details in the background like these).

In the middle where the sun looks like it's making an eye, beside tyler on mountain. Finally, tyler appears to be pointing to this sun, and in last scene, outside the window is blue sky? After thinking on this for a night and reading, a poem called de ave phoenice , which is a subtle reference to christ and resurrection, the poem in English could apply so well, and actually kinda says east is up, I'm truly thinking at 3:12 in paladin strait mv, that it's trash's head, next to not a vulture of but a Phoenix with the waterfall being the tail. There's also other odd things in the tail and just all over this mountain scene

Someone gave the theory that this is a reoccurring lucid dream/nightmare for Tyler and Clancy is is “avatar” in this nightmare. The birds in Paladin straight signal morning approaching but he’s gotta stay asleep a little bit longer to get to Nico. There’s more to it and need to find this persons name to give credit for this theory but it makes so so much sense.

Clancy deceived the bishops like fools, but how?
Let's pay attention to the fact that the real Tyler/Clancy has a scar on his nose. This scar essentially hints at the lore: "Hey viewer, check the lore has arrived!"
But there is another explanation for this! Remember the clip for "Overcompensate"? Throughout the clip, Clancy walks around without a scar, and sometimes without a mask. The real Tyler/Clancy uses the “seizing” move! Everything we saw during the clip was just a narration from Tyler’s point of view; in fact, he was using the corpse (or vessel) of some noname! To remain anonymous, the vessel wore a mask the whole time. We only saw a picture from the narrator Tyler, where he appeared cool without a mask and without a scar. At the end of the clip, we see the real Clancy/Tyler moving away from the “seizing” state, and he has a scar on his nose.
So that's what all this is about, and it explains the events in the "Paladin Strait" video where Clancy/Tyler does the same thing, fooling the bishops. And that's the irony! What does Niсo say? "Hello Clancy." But in fact, there is no Clancy there!

The ending was so abrupt though, and I feel like we need some resolution for the Torchbearer and Banditos. They're down there like "WTH just happened? The zombies just passed out!"

Great content as always. My only comment would be your stating that the torchbearer was the mastermind behind what happened in the Outside; actually, we know now that he was never there. The real torchbearer hasn't seen Tyler/Clancy since the Levitate music video. All SAI videos AND overcompensate were the two other torchbearers that Clancy made up in his head to help. Tyler mentioned in the livestream that there are three, but only the bandito one is real, which we learned in Navigating.
The Clancy album will be also known as the falsetto album to me.

Nice breakdown. I'd like to think this is not the end. While it would make sense if it ends with a cliff hanger, as mental health struggles can be life-long, I'd like to think Tyler breaks the cycle. That would give hope to so many. If Tyler can break free, so can I. We all need a super hero to guide the way and save us. Josh Dunn and Tyler Joseph are that for so many, I'd like to see a happy ending.
Wouldn't it be something if Tyler/Clancy is no longer afraid. Josh ran in "the front door" to help defeat Nico. Then, back in the real world, days later, we see Ty/Clancy and Josh walking into their house, and in the tree is a vulture with yellow eyes watching, waiting, anticipating the insecurities to creep back in.
There is a video by a person named ScaredandIcy, and he/she explains that there are birds in paladin strait, and in good day. this created a theory in my head that clancy is a cycle, and not a cycle to blurryface, but a cycle to sai. there are birds in the intermission of paladin strait, which could leave room to start the song good day since the birds sound similar.

I think the birds were for the MV release. When the MV was being premiered you tube put everyone in the countdown screen and it was him on the cliff with 1:30 countdown and it was only the birds and a few cords... I think it was just for the countdown.
