This song hit me to my heart! My two boys are going through the same thing in school because I have been gone for most of the time trying to provide for my family! Just wanted my boys to know that I love them very much! I will be home soon Daddy Loves You Both!
Wow this song hit me pretty good pulling the load home. Just wanted to say thank you to all the old boys that where haulin and building this country that we have today we wouldn't have it as good as we do if it wasn't for you! Been driving 3 yrs now and it sad to see what it's become but I'll stay positive 10/4
Thanks for your support. I ran long haul for a few years before I had a seizure on home time and the DOT pulled my commercial (I dont blame them) their there to keep the roads safe. I do miss wrangling the wheel of those behemoths, but I fix em now I work in a heavy equipment shop. So I can still say im proud to be part of what makes America turn just from another side of the glass while im under the hood keeping them safe on the road. Roll trucks Roll!!!
I appreciate all the time and hard work Truck drivers do for all of Us. I pray that The Lord will ride with them all and keep them safe and to all of You in cars Please Respect The Truck Driver and Give them the room they need to drive safely.
They are called seat warmers now days. 33 years ago when i first started driving there was still a lot of courteous and helpful people out here, and the general public still had respect for us. Hell, I could go on and on, but what's the use. It will never be as good now as it was then.
Tony madin your so right I'm 16 and I got that white line fever bad its all ive been around thank God to all drivers yall make the world move its the little things like flashing lights that no one realizes. Thank you guys my dad jams gears and i ride every chance and old music keeps me going dont listen to New stuff thanks guys
I was born n raised in this here profession, learned to drive old school--which by the way is the only way to learn how to drive them ole trucks the right way, & been driving now for almost 18 1/2 years now! 10-4!
And they wont even give you any room what so ever for anything. I was told by one of the new guys out here about dimming the lights. He said that the instructors in the driving schools tell them not to shut lights off and back on, cause they lose sight of the road surface. Yeah right, lose sight for a split second. you do that every time you blink. Guess they keep their eyes wide open all the time.
The american trucks are the most beautifull all over the World. I love a FREIGHTLINER FL 120. Is a very classic and beautifull truck. Congratulations for the foundator of this huge company. He is a big genious. Hy from SPAIN.
WOW! What a hot trucker tune. Just the right tone. Country music at it's best. Forget Nashville folks. It's a cesspool of fake country artists who gutted classic country music and replaced it with pop trash. However, check out Heather Myles and Heidi Hauge who try to keep the old classic country music tradition alive. Sample their music on TH-cam. Look for music cds by these ladies on Amazon and Ebay. Note also George Strait's album called LATEST GREATEST STRAITEST HITS which includes the song Murder On Music Row a duet with Alan Jackson.
very nice vid with all these lovely trucks. compared to our european trucks these are real trucks with a long nose. we primary only have small flatnosed trucks because of the limited lenght.
I may be crazy but that was a 2 stroke joke in that first song,an 8V-71 with oh maybe N65 injectors, the control rack sounds out of time valve too tight.Oh man I'm goin' nuts!,a weak cyl.or 2,I rebuilt a lot of drippers back in the 70'S! I have breathed too much diesel smoke!
I agree. It's like an indelible mark on your soul. For example, once a man is ordained a priest, he's a priest forever. The priesthood like baptism and confirmation can't be removed from your soul.
No truckers use to be the last American cowboys.these drivers today. are a different breed all together. there no respect out there any more.use to be a trucker could be counted on for help when you was broke down on the side of the road now days they just blow you off the high way.use to be a driver would dim his light to let you know you pass and was clear to come back over, now they blind the shit out of you now day most driver are ex sniper and Rambo are CB Rambo's
It's "Different Breed of Cowboy" by Red Simpson. As far as I can tell this is the only version by Simpson on TH-cam. The only other is a remake by a different artist....and the tempo is faster; too fast, in my opinion.
member' you could tell what a guy had under the hood or the cab,(used to be a lot of cabovers!) by the sound of the engine, nowadays either I'm goin' deaf &dumb or these electronic fuel injected engines all sound the same!
True, this is two songs played together called a medley: Roll Truck Roll is one of the songs. The first song played is called Different Breed of Cowboy.
