I used to live in Clearwater Florida, which is the home of Scientology, and I can state with authority that it's a brainwashing cult and money farm for the higher ups. To join, you sign a contract to give a percentage of your income for life.
"They live" shirt. Nice!
Man from uncle is underrated. I think of it as a swashbuckling movie, like the pirates franchise or the lone ranger movie. If you just relax and enjoy it then it's a lot of fun
The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is a fantastic movie. Great fun to watch! Sad there's no sequel. Would be fun to see more from this world.
hey Darren...it's AXEL FOLEY...NOT ALEX
Beat me to it...lololol
Lucky for me, this is the most trouble mild dyslexia can get me in.
@@DarrenVanDam I liked the fact that after calling him Alex, you went on to say that you are not a big fan of Beverly Hills Cop. No sh!t Sherlock!
Love these videos btw. I have watched so many great Korean films based on your recommendations. 👍
@@DarrenVanDamYou could say, that was an Alex Folly
@@PapaBPoppinBadumm tish!
Shame The Man form UNCLE didn’t get a sequel
You missed the biggest release of all for Star Trek fans: Netflix is releasing Twenty (20!) BRAND NEW Episodes of "Star Trek: Prodigy" on July 1st!!!
Live Long and Prosper! 🖖
Thank you, came here to add my two cents about it.
Thanks for all your hard work, tough guy
You didn't have to mention you weren't a fan when you said Alex Foley.😅
I thought he said Alex! 😅🤣
@@danielschweighardt3543 lol I noticed that too
...I mean... disrespectful
What a Gyp! I was excited there for a sec. Great video once again!
Love all your videos. Thank you for all you do. ❤❤
I will keep watching as long as you keep making them!
Thanks bro, always on point!
Always appreciated
Okay, can't tease a sis like that with the Magic Mike show 😁
Most of these are already on Netflix UK and have been for some time, however i did forget about Warcraft so i will check that one out tonight!
always enjoy watching these and finding out what i have been missing living here in Thailand :)
The Decameron is an Italian collection of stories told by seven women and three men, while they’re taking shelter together in a rural villa during the plague. It was written in the Middle Ages.
Thanks for breaking the plot down like this. Sounds even more interesting as I have had an obsession with books and movies about the Black Plague and all the attending depravity it engendered in humanity.
@@BiterAvid you’re most welcome. I thought I should. Knowing it’s classical literature adds to its interest for lots of people.
Love the shirt man, one of my favorite movies
American Psycho inspired you - loved the quick clarification. 🤣😆🙏 As a complete, lifelong horror fan I can’t believe I haven’t seen AP, especially since I also love Christian Bale! Definitely will watch it so I can X it off my list. ☠️
nice job thanks
This is the absolute best channel for new and old movie / TV recommendations
Hollywood studio executives should be a sponsor on this channel to market and promote upcoming films and TV series
Seriously, there are so many great movies that I wouldn't have known existed if it weren't your channel
thank you
Great vid
I'd like to see the Bond series to be set in the sixties again - like Ritchie's' The Man From Uncle. Exactly like the books were written.
thanks mate
Thank you so much for making these, I work overnight shift and pretty much watch movies all night
I loved Warcraft. Never played the game, was never big on video games. There's obviously a back story I lack, but I not only saw the movie and enjoyed it I re-watch it ever so often. Not as often as 300 or John Wick, but often.
"Alex Foley" LMAO!
Where can I get that amazing shirt you’re wearing? That thing just screams “consume”!
the recent ungentlemany warfare was very good. The Man from Uncle is a rehatch of a early british series which one of my favorites shows. Take a look!!!
One of the greatest movie quotes from the 80's: "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass.... and I'm all out of bubblegum," Great shirt!!
Thanks Darren ,really looking forward to that wild South Korean horror series and the Scientology series. Yes that is a head scratcher alright about their religious status. Also Bone Tomahawk is beyond awesome. Highly recommended.. Keep up the good work
As others have commented, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is very good. It never strays for even a second from its uber-cool vibe.
Like your reviews, but you seem to lean toward action movies. I like dramas. How about doing some reviews on good dramas?
I tend to pepper them throughout my lists but one of the best I've seen recently is "The Boys in the Boat" which is included with Prime here in the U.S. I also highly recommend Nicolas Cage in "Pig". The plot sounds like a setup for a John Wick rip off but it never becomes an action movie and if you love dramas it might blow you away. Also look for "Chopper" on Prime Video. Eric Bana's first role and it's absolutely bananas. Brutal at times though so it's NOT one to put on for a group of people.
Man From Uncle is a remake of a tv series. Robert Vaugn was Solo while Ilya Kerrigan was played by David Mccalum.
I was momentarily jazzed when you were about to remove your shirt. Been in love with your puppy-dog eyes from the beginning and currently applaud your physical workout routine. And also, yeah, thanks for this Netflix July list. I am intrigued by Exploding Kittens and will give that and several others a look.
There’s actually a few good ones I will be enjoying with my wife and daughter- thanks for the heads up!
It's crazy (pun intended) to think that Christian Bale almost didn't play Patrick Bateman in American Psycho in favor of Leonardo DiCaprio. Even crazier is Bale was cast first but the studio wanted DiCaprio for his star power; he accepted but then dropped out over concerns it would hurt his career as a follow up to Titanic.
i like leo but Bale nailed this role and i couldn't see anyone else portrayed Patrick Bateman lol what a psycho.
No disrespect at all to Christian Bale but DiCaprio would have slayed that role..ijs
4:39 oh h ll yeah!
Uncle is so cool 😎 love the outfits 👍🏽
You forgot to mention "Star Trek Prodigy" season 2 coming first of Juli. Great action by Netflix just by saving this show from ending up in the Paramount bin.
Dang straight.
My son needs that tshirt…where can I get it for him?
Dolemite is My Name is great-based upon a true legend Rudy Ray Moore-Murphy was great in the role in a somewhat over the top film but great fun
You forgot star trek prodigy season 2. But that might just be here in the UK?
Alex Foley LOL
Stacked? Hardly
Guess I’ll be reading a lot this month
You’re still the man dvd! I’m all in with you
Where did you get that shirt?
Sweet Home is really really good
14:20 feels like “The Great” on Hulu or 1670 on Netflix.
Harry Connick Jr is amazing. Will definitely be watching that.
Curious, Why does Netflix remove content, is it have to do with bandwidth or something?
Have you done suggestions for Sony Bravia Core?
Looking forward to "Beverly Hills Cop 4" and "Vikings: Valhalla!" "Warcraft" is underrated, wish they'd have kept the franchise going. Gotta catch u on "Cobra Kai." And "Bone Tomahawk" is certainly an. . . experience!
Thought this might convince me to go back to netflix, but not this month. maybe next time.
Hey can you find out if or when will Netflix come back season 3 for the Korean Zombie series Kingdom. I have been waiting for it for a while
Land of Bad was great fun. Good Kill was more focused, and in many ways more substantive.
I super excited to watch the entire second season of Prodigy [Star Trek].
Dolemite!
Actually Warcraft has been on Netflix before, at least in Europe. Might be the first time for the US I don't know ...
Can't believe you threw shade at Zombie Land 2....
I have to return some video tapes
Not much going on this month
Damn. We almost saw an ab
Ok how do you get this information about Netflix lineup. First Netflix had like one promo for their upcoming months, but now I can't even find that.
DVD had a couple on his list last month, that you needed to rent!
SUBSCRIBED
&... "Alex Foley"? 😂
oh no he called him Alex Foley instead of Axel
I never played Warcraft, and enjoyed the movie. It's not excellent but I've seen worse. I suspect you'll like it , DVD. Will be interested to hear your thoughts on it. Edit: Did you say Alex Foley? LMAO
... I did.
Dude did you say Alex Foley? Blasphemous!😂 there’s even a number one song to remind u(Axel F). Rare blind spot for u
Warcraft is good as a fantasy movie, and I'm a game fan.
Netflix…at least it’s not cable
🤔
didn't netflix put out that sick toddler sexualization show
Mae was handcuffed BEHIND HER BACK. Then magically has them in the front later?
Huge Kurt Russell fan, will watch anything he's in. Huge Western fan, will watch any Western. Saw Bone Tomahawk once and HATED HATED HATED IT.
Russel Crow isn't the commander in Land of Bad. He's just a remote drone pilot who helps the guy escape. Wasn't a bad movie, but far from Russel Crow's greatest hits.
Looks like a whole month of me wondering why I still have Netflix.
Jeez are thay STILL flogging the dead horse that is the Karate Kid ??
Who is Alex Foley?
This sounds like a lacklustre month I think. I liked the Beverly Hills Cop movies so I’ll catch Eddy Murphy and I’ll give Man from UNCLE a look just to support poor old Henry Cavill.
Eeeee, Sweet Home Season 3 😊😎
Darren to enjoy the first 2 Beverly Hills Cop movies you need to tether them to Eddie's humour of the time.
Beverly Hills Cop, 48 hours, Trading places, Delirious (the standup special) - early humour - more profane
Beverly Hills Cop 2, another 48 hours, The golden child, Raw (the second standard up) - mid 80's humour shift, less profanity, more fast talking/imitational humour.
It's not for everyone for sure and looking back on them I can see why some of it's quite cringeworthy to the generation below me who didn't grow up with that stuff.
Darren, Darren, Darren... I'm a big fan of the channel and you generally align with my tast, but COMEON! ITS AXEL FOLEY and BHC movies are fantastic!!! Love ya!
Re Scientology: You meant to say the government DOES call it a religion.
That's Axl Foley.... not Alex :)
You forgot Heels. Just like Starz did. Why?
Cobra Kai never die
Dude. the beginning of Bone Tomohawk is pretty insane. I am among probably 9 people who have seen this movie. Do NOT watch this with your GF or kids. Great cast
The beginning is not what I remember.
Haha how much I watch your channel is almost a religion ❤
We could tell you didn't like Beverley Hills Cop when you got the main characters name wrong.
a couple who DOES...
Tickled was soooo weird.
.........Alex Foley?
This list puts me to shame Daz. Why? I love movies, everything, but 50% of the films in this list I know about but have never watched. I think it's about time I dipped my toes in. SAW, American Psycho, Magic mike. Damn Van Dam, you have a six pack 🤣 I am going to give them all a go, why not right.
The Man with a 1000 Kids. WOW. I really liked The Delivery Guy. Cheers for the list.
weird, Warcraft has been on Philippines netflix for years
its a great film
He say he didn’t like any of the Beverly Hills movies by Eddie Murphy. Let me know he doesn’t know cinema
❤❤❤
Bone Tomahawk changed my life! 🤮
Wait Liam Hemsworth is the witcher??? I thought it was Henry Cavill lol
Fire whoever decided to insert you telling everyone to "like and subscribe" over and over and over. Once is plenty anymore is actually begging to remove the like I clicked after the first time you said it.
land of band is very good!!!
