this is definitely something I want to do, I am especially looking to go into the food processing of these type things, chili, tomatoes things that Africans eat on a daily basis, 95% of the chili paste that they use to cook with is imported from Europe, especially in Ghana and other parts of Africa, I mean why import when you can do it right there in Africa! and what he said about Africa is more possible for us to invest then where we are in, is a fact! I can attest to that, western countries purposely make it difficult for diasporas to start business and to eventually succeed in that business, even if they managed to succeed they do it with a lot of struggle or they usually have a white person as a backer, really Africa is a gold mine of opportunity in the food processing industry, anyone with a few 1000 dollars to spare should think of investing in the food processing business in Africa, thank you for this video is really inspirational.
Everything is okay ..except the part that says "anyone with afew 1000 dollars" Being in Africa, Uganda ..a proper investment could take about 16,000 to 20,000 dollars

What do you think about graviola “Corosol”fruits ? Here in uk there’s none. So I was think maybe invest in that.
Dear Edwige, yes you can invest from a far, however, if you want to start your own business, agriculture requires you to be on the ground most of the time, so it may not be the best business model for you, if your family is not yet ready to relocate. There are many other African business models you can manage much better from a distance. It is possible!
Dear Dr Harnet, I do understand, but I think your training will teach me everything. I mean, for example: when to be on the ground, how long to be on the ground and when the recolte is ready. Or I can also invest in agriculture that takes 2 or 3 years to grow “like avocado or graviola” I need maybe a product that can allow me to be with my family and also on the ground in Africa like twice a year. I need to know also buyers here in uk. He’s a good ideas to import from Africa but if we don’t know the buyers in Europe. For my I am ready for 2021 to start something in Rwanda because I am planning to relocate in 5 years. My daughter will be 18th 2021 so the time start is now.
I am not Rwandese, I am from Brazzaville but even I don’t know Rwanda but Rwandese government are giving opportunities to investors so I am on board for Rwanda also Brazzaville is only 1hours and half flight. My mind is made up for Rwanda. That is why I came to you because you’re professional in business and training so that you can guide me. I would like to import I am just scared because I don’t have buyers. I know also to make baby’s food with how own local food products to avoid Africa buying from Europe, but that will require to be on the ground all the time I think. Like you explained earlier there’s competition.

I have saved some money to buy a land near the airport this summer 2021 and also check some opportunities in farming that would require to be maybe on the ground maybe twice a year. Finding the suppliers is easy rather than finding buyers in other countries, how did he found buyers? that was not mentioned in the video🙄
