Thank you so much Dr Harnet! You have brought out the real jackpot of the world, and telling us we can do it too! For so long we have allowed the West and Chinese to own Africa. Now you are changing perceptions. I also like how you are so optimistic because I tell you the fear I used to have due to bad experiences in Cameroun which is massively corrupt, is starting to go away. I have learned that you don’t have to do business in your own country but anywhere on the continent. I am eyeing Rwanda or Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania. Do you have a consultancy firm to contact because I’m a student and can only establish after my education in the West. And just to the rest of the Africans out there, the West is no longer as juicy as it once was! Dr Harnet you have put Africa again on the world stage better than any corrupt politicians out there!

It's is good to see that African entrepreneurs now understand the importance of adding value to raw commodities, and are doing more processing of produce. I hope that Alaska Tanzania and others incorporate exporting into their long term plans. There are certain key steps required including identifying an off take partner, that is a large customer that will provide access to large export markets. It's a big step and it may not happen right away, but a strong export business can have tremendous impact on the company and its stakeholders, the community, and the nation.

This looks like a promising business. I was impressed to here her incorporate saving into her planning. So many new businesses are starving for cash which can impede their growth. Even a small cash reserve will help her reach the next stage, whether she finances from operating funds or raises money externally.
