Would love to see a 3D printed U-Shaped buckle on the left side to hold the barrel to the receiver🤔 only reason I haven’t made the folding stock adaptation to mine!
Bought one of these earlier this year knowing how terribly they cycle ammo. Can’t get more than two rounds to cycle without some variety of jamming so I either shoot CCI subsonic at 709 fps, or load a CCI Mini-Mag manually through the ejection port. The subsonic ammo won’t cycle the action, so I cycle it manually and it functions well that way. An absolutely hideous rifle, but I like it a lot so I’ve adapted to its problems. The crude peep sight on it is surprisingly accurate at 50 yards. Was shooting it tonight. Put about 50 rounds through it.
Mine has actually been surprisingly reliable - maybe 5% failure rate? (Unacceptable for any duty gun, but great for a cheap semi auto 22) I can't stand the peep sight, hence red dots haha
I’ve heard some function reasonably right from the factory. You were lucky. I’m glad I knew what a POS it might be before I bought it. My expectations were very low. Why I like the thing so much I can’t explain. I shoot it more than my 10/22 or CZ bolt-action target rifle. I’ll put a cheapy red dot on it this summer.
I have had great luck with CCI mini-mags in Henry AR7. Other ammo not so much. For example, the "Clean " polymer coated CCI jams when feeding. And standard velocity also doesn't seem to cycle that reliably. But HV copper plated CCI works very well.
Maybe this has been said already, but yes, there was an Armalite AR-7 in “From Russia, With Love”. Also, Charles Bronson took out a Formula One race car with one somehow, lol
although it does float in the original stock i wouldn’t call it water proof. i threw it into a creek with a bit of current and the stock definitely let it a little bit of water lol
@@Themightymooseoutdoor87 I was looking at this before I saw your video. I really appreciate it being able to see it before I print it! What other tackle to I need?
this is a lot better than a 10/22
Lots of fun for sure!

Hey that's an idea!

Good to know!
I totally get it. It's a fun little plinker that scratches an itch for sure.

it literally says in the manual that the gun only can take regular ammo and high power. not subsonic.
This would be a lot cooler with an 6” to 8” threaded barrel.
Agreed! That would be sick.

Wouldn't take much nowadays, seen one taken out by bugs....
What Bronson movie was that ?
@ ‘Violent City’ (1970)
No disrespect, but the stock features is the reason I bought mine . Being able to carry the whole thing together water proof
It is a great feature!
I still have all the stock parts so it's an easy revert.

The original model was in a few films
Where did you buy the folding stock. I’m left handed it’s the one I need.
I believe it's this one amzn.to/3WN1wK0

8 round mags....not 10
DONDE SE PUEDE COMPRAR UNA COMO ESA .??
No se si se puede compra la arma completa asi, aye que comprar las partes y armarlo.
Can i buy an adapter from you?
I don't sell them unfortunately, but I'll look into getting selling rights for it.
I’m interested also.
“From Russia With Love” starring Sean Connery
Great movie! And yup!
Imagine if it could be a pistol before the barrel was attached
Would be like those blaster AR kits they make for 22lr - han solos pistol essentially
Selling any of those parts? DO the new Henry versions work any better than the old AR7s?....that SUCKED.
I don't sell them, although I could 3d print one for you. This particular rifle has worked really well for me, it's been very reliable.
This isn't the exact adapter, but I've also used it with success amzn.to/3HRlnz0
How about that stl file for the stock?

Dang, turned the volume all the way up and still had a hard time hearing
I need to get a mic!
*8 round mag
Sorry, I'll stick with the original. This setup completely defeats the purpose of the gun.
To each their own!

@@Themightymooseoutdoor87 Definitely not for good gun content !
Definitely not - that would bring good commenters.
