I kinda love that these three episodes make it clear that Aegon was never meant for the throne and that pretty much everyone on Team Green knows it. From Aemond straight saying they usurped the first episode, to Otto basically laughing in Aegon's face when he mentions that Viserys wanted him to be king, and now Alicent realizing that he didn't' even want him anywhere near the throne they can't deny that what they've done is fucked up and now a bloody war will be fought over what is essentially a lie.
I've noticed no reactors have recognised that the poor tavern girl server who was smacked on bum, was the same girl called Dyana, from S1E08 who was SA'd by Aegon II when she was a maid in the kingdom. Explains even more so why Dyana looked so traumatised by the smack from the older customer.
Team Green has 4 dragons: Aegon has Sunfyre, Helena has Dreamfyre, Aemond has Vhagar, and Daeron (the unseen brother) has Tessarion. We saw 3 of their dragons in Season 1 episode 6 as the Greens left Driftmark.

Alicent was telling the truth. Viserys did say that. As viewers we knew what he was talking about, but Alicent isnt a viewer. She heard what he said without the knowledge we, as viewers, had.
If otto and rest of council can clearly see it wasn't true, so should see as Viserys wife & queen for decades. Visery was also on milk of the poppy which definitely affects the kings awareness & Allicent knew that already.

So sbout the vision Damon vision So i think his dream was Dragon dream bc Harrenhall is next to isla of faces and The Godseye the old magic. Damon speak of being thick with the blood of the dragon but he doesn't believe in Vision and spells because his brother was the supposed Dreamer but if Vizzy T has been prescient he would have understood that he has seer daughter. I do believe Vizzy believe in Rhaenyra bc if he didn't he would not have given her the prophecy. Damon does not see to hold fast to his Queen as his leader. I think he knows Rhaeynis is fierce dragon rider but he has seen women as less than warrior. He also seems to have impresses dragon supremacy into his children. They mentioned it briefly but if we had more Baela and Rheana actually speak audience might have forgotten her hatchling died in pentos. She and Baela were given eggs as babes. Now why all other even Daeron invisible son of Alicent has dragon Rhaena is in same position as Aemond before his eye loss literally her cousin and sis all have dragons why she didn't try wit another egg 🥚 we don't know maybe she didn't want shame if she tried with a 2nd egg and it didn't hatch or hatchling died that family would say ahe is cursed maybe sea smoke will come to her on pentos and she will take her uncle steed.

Bookbeards calm down I know that the source doesnt go that way but I am just giving an idea that id like to see in an adaptation. Danny kinda had a council of strong women and misfits liks Tyrion and Varya they weren't listened to in the end . It is cool idea that Rhae would he more progressive. People are saying her plan was unrealistic but Damon went to Red Keep and his plan was halfcocked I belief that Damon dream has young Rhae bc he knows he groomed her and his attraction was impulsive but also tied to using a tool to become King he tried it with Myseria but Leana was his next attempt and finally Rhaenyra gave him this title. When he accused his brother of using Rhaynera as a tool , that's what he would have did.
At this point theres not alot Alicent can do unfortunately, maybe reason with Aegon but after years of telling him that he should be king instead of Rhaenyra and after the death of the child theres not alot of space for her words that can help him, it might be hard for her to walk to the council knowing she was wrong and that the war is happening because she interpreted the words of Viserys the way she saw fit, but atleast she is the only posible voice of reason in that council so theres that.
Yes, it is all Alicencet green how she has raised her children as it is written teach a child while it is young when he is older he won't depart from it.!

I think that's what they are trying to set up about how the eggs got to 'Pentos' as well, the problem is that Dany's dragons supposedly came from a different progenitor and that Dragons tend to _physically favor_ the dragons whose eggs they come from. The one thing about Alicent is that, (remember) Otto was going to put Aeon on the throne with or without her 'deathbed claim'. She NEVER had the authority or influence she thought she had over anyone but 'Cole'. It really is too late for the truth about her husband's true wishes, they were never going to let a woman ascend the throne...
