Good morning Olivia My favorite fall decor item you did is your over the top mantle. That's what gave me the idea to do my corner hutch. I can go big without the worry of little fingers wanting to touch. My grandbabies love to smell flowers even if they don't smell. My oldest grand girl is 5 and she absolutely loves to re-arrange all my florals. I have let her make arrangements in my lanterns and she really does a good job. She's also my lil crafting buddy. Everytime I'm in my Craft room she comes to see what I'm up to and hops up in the chair next to me. Then she'll let out a sigh, get down go to the drawer designated for the kids and will pull out a project she wants to work on. And the next thing we know the boys are in with us wanting to craft. Such a blessing to have them with me as much as I do. My lil helpers. Have a fun filled fabulous weekend. Stay safe. God bless
Everything is just gorgeous! How in the world can I pick ONE favorite??!? Those candles that arrived under such mysterious circumstances are definitely one of my favorite things....along with that gorgeous pumpkin/MC centerpiece. I am bound and determined to make one; I’ve been gathering the supplies to have at the ready once I find the 3 pumpkins. I’ve been searching for just the right base for it, and haven’t had any luck. Nothing was ever right.....I searched out in my shed, and all of the places I thought I would have most likely stashed a flower pot I wasn’t using. I finally gave up, and just figured I’d find something somewhere. Well, the other day I was standing by my back door, and on my right sits a little 3 shelf cart where I keep cleaning products, etc. I just happened to look down, and lo and behold there is sitting the prettiest flower pot that I had set down there; and it’s the perfect size!!! I had spray painted it gold, and it has a pretty design around the top part of the pot. The lower 2/3 has raised vertical lines that were perfect for painting black & white stripes!! It couldn’t be more perfect for what I have in mind!!! Very excited to make that centerpiece topiary, a la Mackenzie Childs/Olivia inspired!!! Your table looks stunning, as always, and I’m sure it’s a breathtaking sight to walk into your home and see all that you’ve created! I love it all ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Your living room and dining room look so beautiful. I have made quite a few MacKenzie Child's items, from your videos, for fall and some items I am using to transition from summer into fall. I even made the three tiered pink pumpkin and the vase, DT vase and candle stick, for my daughter 's new apartment. I made a floral arrangement for the vase, using mostly DT florals. It is in her bathroom on the vanity and it looks great with her MacKenzie Child's shower curtain. The pink pumpkin is in a corner of her kitchen and looks so pretty! I’ve always loved decorating my home for main seasons/holidays. My budget for unnecessary decorations was not a priority. I have always had to purchase inexpensive ($🌳) thrifty finds (thrift stores/roadside) to decorate with by reusing, repurposing and painting. Although I have never considered myself a crafter because I was always embarrassed if my crafts when I saw friends purchases of high end decor. I’ve come to love my crafts more than the high end now 😂🌞☮️

I love the incorporation of black, white and gold even in the fall. The McKanzie child inspiration is ideal for bringing a bit of whimsy to a space. We are preparing for our first hurricai of the season (Florida) but after we are in the clear it will be a welcomed distraction to start the fall decorations. I feel like I need to have my husband build a faux mantle so I can decorate it for the seasons like you do. I love to decorate for fall with florals and pumkins.....at my house you'll also find other gourds and pinecones (i love the ones that smell like cinnamon) and lots of cotton worked in. Olivia, this is just beautiful!!! I ordered the dinner napkins from MacKenzie Child because, quite frankly, they were what I could afford and thought I could get the biggest bang out of. They came today and oh my gosh they’re huge they have the pattern on all four sides as you probably know, but the whole point of it is that you could decoupage them onto a clear anything and they would be gorgeous. While I may not be able to afford a lot of her beautiful things, I think I can duplicate pieces, through painting and decoupage, similar to what you have done to use on my table. I don’t believe they’ll be as beautiful as what you’ve created but at least it will be a fun foray into McKenzie’s world. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful inspiration!!!
Hi Olivia I love EVERYTHING! But, I’m going to choose your GORGEOUS OVER THE TOP FLORAL! Like you say..” I am crushing on it big time”!!! 🥰. Love it, love it, love it!!!! I’m going to try it. I have a huge chunky 87” mantle that is white. It’s from my modern, rustic glam days 4 yrs ago. I had it for 2 yrs before my husband installed it. By that time I was over it. Shucks I’m so done with it but I have an idea to trim it out with molding and TRY to make it work in my more Chinoiserie look! Honestly, my living room is so eclectic I LOVE to decorate and change things too quickly so I’ve stopped buying a lot of accessories. Except, for DT YAY love that place. All the differing heights, colors, layers and textures come together for a stunning table, well amazing room. You belong in a magazine with this whole collection. It may be a very small thing, but adding the garland and it trailing off the shelf offset was smart. I try to do a traditional garland swag but yours looks more natural. I feel like I need to have my husband build a faux mantle so I can decorate it for the seasons like you do. I love to decorate for fall with florals and pumkins.....at my house you'll also find other gourds and pinecones (i love the ones that smell like cinnamon) and lots of cotton worked in. Olivia, this is just beautiful!!! I ordered the dinner napkins from MacKenzie Child because, quite frankly, they were what I could afford and thought I could get the biggest bang out of. They came today and oh my gosh they’re huge they have the pattern on all four sides as you probably know, but the whole point of it is that you could decoupage them onto a clear anything and they would be gorgeous. While I may not be able to afford a lot of her beautiful things, I think I can duplicate pieces, through painting and decoupage, similar to what you have done to use on my table. I don’t believe they’ll be as beautiful as what you’ve created but at least it will be a fun foray into McKenzie’s world. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful inspiration!!!

I have a huge chunky 87” mantle that is white. It’s from my modern, rustic glam days 4 yrs ago. I had it for 2 yrs before my husband installed it. By that time I was over it. Shucks I’m so done with it but I have an idea to trim it out with molding and TRY to make it work in my more Chinoiserie look! Honestly, my living room is so eclectic I LOVE to decorate and change things too quickly so I’ve stopped buying a lot of accessories. Except, for DT YAY love that place. Love your ideas and I’m going to post little fall tree I made today and my mantle floral once it’s done. You give me so much encouragement in life. I miss my friends, but you give so much love by what you’re doing you help me through the tough times I’ve been facing. All the differing heights, colors, layers and textures come together for a stunning table, well amazing room. You belong in a magazine with this whole collection. It may be a very small thing, but adding the garland and it trailing off the shelf offset was smart. I try to do a traditional garland swag but yours looks more natural. I wish I had adequate words but this is simply a masterpiece. Idk what else you could possibly do to top this!! You've set the bar very high. God Bless You and have a wonderful weekend!
