During the early days of Covid my wife, who suffers with Alzheimer's, sadly fell & dislocated her hip. She was taken to hospital & an attempt was made during the night to reset her hip under a local anaesthetic. It failed & they then decided to attempt a reset under a general anaesthetic the following morning. At 3.00 am I had a phone call, from a doctor at the hospital, informing me of this & telling me that a DNR had been applied as she had Alzheimer's. I protested & said that I should be consulted as her husband & that I had Lasting Power of Attorney. I was informed that it was a medical decision & that I had no say in the matter. I told the doctor that if they did not attempt resuscitation I would sue them. The DNR was removed, the operation was performed & happily my wife is still with me to this day. I was asked repeatedly, even yelled at, for refusing to sign a DNR, simply because I refused to go on a vent!!!! Luckily I had also signed a medical power of attorney to my wife, and she stood strong! I later learned that only 5% of people came off the vent!

In 2022, my wife went to hospital for a spinal injury, while in A&E the doctors put a DNR order in place for her care. She was 61yrs. old! There was no changing their minds about it when I confronted them, so I demanded to see someone in authority, they insisted that it was her age which was the deciding factor. I argued with them for over an hour and got Nowhere! Thankfully she is home now and Alive!
I remember being in hospital a couple of years ago and these nurses approached this old man in his bed and told him a DNR was in place for him, he looked at them and said, "What do you mean, do not resuscitate!" it was quite haunting.

My father in law was recently in Shrewsbury hospital who was well before going in but got a chest infection whilst in hospital and got quite serious. He then was given a DNR without the families knowledge and the notes said he was frail and couldn’t climb stairs etc but in fact he played golf twice a week and ran and swims at the gym each week fortunately he made a full recovery
The thing is that DNAR or RESPECT form could only be discussed with the patient and there is no obligation for a health professional to involve the family member.

My mum was rushed to hospital ( Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital ) with copd during convid. She couldn't breath let alone speak, and the first thing asked was to sign a dnr. I got there 1 hour later and because my mum couldn't speak they asked me to sign it. I said no way she hasn't come to hospital to be killed off. Some of these "doctors" are unfortunately by now, utterly insane -, Do we see any change since WW2? We sadly do not... My 96 year old dad went into hospital after a fall at the back end of covid. All they found was an old fracture in his thigh. 3 times they tried to pressure me into a DNR, 3 times I refused!! They kept making pathetic excuses as to why they wouldn’t release him into my care, the most ridiculous reason they gave was that he needed to go to audiology for a hearing aid! That’s an outpatient issue. That was after moving him onto a live covid ward when he didn’t have covid. He was clogging up a bed for over 2 weeks. I fought hard and kicked off big time and threatened legal action personally on his doctor, next day he was swiftly moved to another hospital and out of danger. 2 days later he was safe at home. There’s Something very very dark was/ is going on in the NHS!! I was totally convinced they were trying to kill him off!

If DNRs were ordered inappropriately in masse, it implies those issuing the DNRs were told to do so by someone higher up. Was this the case? If so, who gave the orders? Is there physical evidence to support this notion (i.e. emails, mail, etc.)?

I am a 72 year old retired nurse and have been at the bedside of patients receiving CPR. I saw the results of the sin of not allowing the individual the time to die!
Yes, it can be traumatizing, especially if the person ends up mentally damaged, but that is an individuals choice, or their families. In the rare case, it is a call the doctor can make but what they can not do is issue mass DNR's for patients. There are procedures for a reason.
A friend of mine had a family member who was admitted to hospital. The family were with them in hospital until late in the evening, and the clinical staff were very good. Upon returning to the hospital in the morning, the family member was in a great deal of distress. As soon as the family had left the hospital the patient had been coerced throughout the night into signing a DNR, which they eventually did in the early morning when the most senior clinician came in and upped the pressure….but this was after multiple times of the patient stating that they wanted to carry on living!

If you had a good reason to believe that working in tandem we can make something both medical and political. Until you are truly defending an untenable position due to science catching up. Or possibly risk a malpractice because offering you the prescribed drugs that were so hailed and toted was what everyone was asked to do. it is unpopular still to ask even in these 4 years if a more effective treatment can be found. Some people came out with a play book though ready to go. It is always game time. and I seen how far they are willing to go to make sure that the proper people had proper protection. It is hard to come down on the wrong side of something that you set the goal posts for. I do believe there was a large healthy dose of much needed skepticism applied even across the board. My mother (90) in Cumbria had a visit from someone from her surgery asking her if she wanted to sign a DNR around the time of the jab roll out - early 2021. She had 2 AZ jabs and 5 months later was diagnosed with heart failure. She only lived another two months.

My father fell ill with Covid. During the day he had been in good form and totally lucid but got a high fever later in the day. After the ambulance arrived, a Doctor rang me and asked me if I wanted him to be taken to hospital or to die at home. He asked me if he should put a “Do not resuscitate” order on him. His tone throughout was suggestive that this was the right thing to do. There was no form signed, my father couldn’t participate in the conversation and there were no witnesses. The next day my brother and I visited the hospital and were surprised to find him awake and totally lucid. He even rang us both at home later on the day. Early the next morning we got a phone call to call us into the hospital, basically to watch him die as they had administered the morphine/medazolam. I have no medical experience so wasn’t aware of the process that was going ahead. Given the information that is coming out I can’t help but feel totally let down and will always wonder if my father could have lived longer.
And according to some sources, hospitals were basically empty. No need for any panic. As we have seen the young and fit adults (even elderly) were not at risk compared to the measures taken.... and the GMO pumped into millions of people.

I think a law should be passed that requires healthcare facilities to offer BOTH a DNR and a Refusal of DNR. The absence of an unsigned DNR form is not enough protection in my opinion.
I was in hospital in march this year, I heard an elderly 92 year old lady being told by a dr that they wouldn’t resuscitate if her heart stopped as it wouldn’t be worth it, she had no family there at the time, she didn’t have her hearing aids in and clearly had no clue what she was signing, I was shocked at what I was hearing. Her daughter came in later that evening and I asked to speak with her and old her exactly what was said, it was her who told me her mum didn’t have her hearing aids in and if handed a piece of paper to sign she would trust the dr, she said my mum would never sign a DNR. The daughter went out and went straight to the nurse sister on the ward and said I want this removed immediately, she was told it wouldn’t get done until the morning and she said no you’re removing it now tonight, around 23.45 the sister came in to say it had been removed from her record, the poor lady said I couldn’t hear him I didn’t know why I had to sign it. Her daughter thanked me for telling her, the next morning the dr came back and said to the lady who went home that day, I’m sorry for any confusion over the conversation yesterday, there was no confusion he tricked a relatively healthy lady into signing a form telling her that her life wasn’t worth saving.this is in the uk down the other end of the country from Scotland, my question is how many people are being tricked into signing these forms, I was furious and appalled for her and her family.

Hearing this brings me back to my 34 year old daughter had a stroke in July nearly 2 years ago,i was asked early on right after surgery to remove clot in her neck and in the middle of night i was asked if i would go along with a DNR, i said absolutely no. She is with me now and needs lots of care and i will be there for her till I am gone from this earth.

During the early days of Covid my wife, who suffers with Alzheimer's, sadly fell & dislocated her hip. She was taken to hospital & an attempt was made during the night to reset her hip under a local anaesthetic. It failed & they then decided to attempt a reset under a general anaesthetic the following morning.
At 3.00 am I had a phone call, from a doctor at the hospital, informing me of this & telling me that a DNR had been applied as she had Alzheimer's.
I protested & said that I should be consulted as her husband & that I had Lasting Power of Attorney. I was informed that it was a medical decision & that I had no say in the matter.
I told the doctor that if they did not attempt resuscitation I would sue them.
The DNR was removed, the operation was performed & happily my wife is still with me to this day.
So it happened in England as well.

The 38 Yr old gentleman was in hospital and over the period of a day he was asked 5 times to sign the DNR. It is my understanding he was recovering from Cancer , but tested positive for C and put on a ventilator. His case is spoken about in the Scottish enquiry and available to watch on YT. In 2022, my wife went to hospital for a spinal injury, while in A&E the doctors put a DNR order in place for her care. She was 61yrs. old!
There was no changing their minds about it when I confronted them, so I demanded to see someone in authority, they insisted that it was her age which was the deciding factor. I argued with them for over an hour and got Nowhere!
Thankfully she is home now and Alive!
I remember being in hospital a couple of years ago and these nurses approached this old man in his bed and told him a DNR was in place for him, he looked at them and said, "What do you mean, do not resuscitate!" it was quite haunting.

My father in law was recently in Shrewsbury hospital who was well before going in but got a chest infection whilst in hospital and got quite serious. He then was given a DNR without the families knowledge and the notes said he was frail and couldn’t climb stairs etc but in fact he played golf twice a week and ran and swims at the gym each week fortunately he made a full recovery
The thing is that DNAR or RESPECT form could only be discussed with the patient and there is no obligation for a health professional to involve the family member.

My 96 year old dad went into hospital after a fall at the back end of covid. All they found was an old fracture in his thigh. 3 times they tried to pressure me into a DNR, 3 times I refused!!
They kept making pathetic excuses as to why they wouldn’t release him into my care, the most ridiculous reason they gave was that he needed to go to audiology for a hearing aid! That’s an outpatient issue. That was after moving him onto a live covid ward when he didn’t have covid. He was clogging up a bed for over 2 weeks. I fought hard and kicked off big time and threatened legal action personally on his doctor, next day he was swiftly moved to another hospital and out of danger. 2 days later he was safe at home.

If DNRs were ordered inappropriately in masse, it implies those issuing the DNRs were told to do so by someone higher up. Was this the case? If so, who gave the orders? Is there physical evidence to support this notion (i.e. emails, mail, etc.)?

I am a 72 year old retired nurse and have been at the bedside of patients receiving CPR. I saw the results of the sin of not allowing the individual the time to die!
Yes, it can be traumatizing, especially if the person ends up mentally damaged, but that is an individuals choice, or their families. In the rare case, it is a call the doctor can make but what they can not do is issue mass DNR's for patients. There are procedures for a reason.
A friend of mine had a family member who was admitted to hospital. The family were with them in hospital until late in the evening, and the clinical staff were very good. Upon returning to the hospital in the morning, the family member was in a great deal of distress. As soon as the family had left the hospital the patient had been coerced throughout the night into signing a DNR, which they eventually did in the early morning when the most senior clinician came in and upped the pressure….but this was after multiple times of the patient stating that they wanted to carry on living!

Jan 2016 was poisoned by Drixine / oxymetazoline nasal spray after only 3 uses. It is a vascular constricting agent. Ultra sound showed arteries constricted in my neck & a back wave in the blood flow. Have cerebral vascular constriction in my brain, arteries in my brain & body constricted since Jan 2016. Blood pressure 170 - 200 & unbelievable pressure in head & pounding headaches since Jan 2016 & not one "Dr" will admit I was poisoned by this drug, nor have I been able to get any other investigations into this issue by any "Dr" or neurologist such as brain scans to prove the constriction in my brain arteries. The only test I've been able to get was the original ultra sound on my neck. Every murdering quack has said, "It's not the "stuff" (oxymetazoline) that caused my problem/s. And I have not been able to get ANY further or investigations onto the problem/s. Since Jan 2016 I live housebound most of the time living on a beta blocker, the only blood pressure med that has not caused me a serious adverse reaction, & pain killers. One ACE inhibitor gave me a heart attack about 3 years ago & was sick & very weak for a year . Second ACE made me very sick & weak for another year. Was also turned away from the ER dept of the hospital twice. Second time they refused to even look at my neck ultra sounds.

And what you said about the sanctity of life was spot on! Human life has been cheapened and lost a lot of it's meaning. Many people pay the sanctity lip service but their actions don't bear it out. Many have become cold and utilitarian in their thinking as long as it doesn't effect them.
All the nurses, doctors and care givers that were silent on this have a lot to answer for. If you value your employment over duty of care you're in the wrong field. Duty of care is paramount.
If you had a good reason to believe that working in tandem we can make something both medical and political. Until you are truly defending an untenable position due to science catching up. Then you may also believe that everyone's best interest is at heart. And you would follow the prescribed medical care that was being given. Or possibly risk a malpractice because offering you the prescribed drugs that were so hailed and toted was what everyone was asked to do. it is unpopular still to ask even in these 4 years if a more effective treatment can be found. Statistically a vaccine roll out done in 6 months en mass wouldn't be as thoroughly tested, and in my opinion mislabeled, gene therapy with GMO not even mentioned. if you knew that the 7th month might hold better answers and time will tell with treatment, whereas saying it is many things that it is not. Doesn't make it true. At that time you would need to prove it as more or equally effective to provide adequate care. As a medicine that was overly inflated in many if not all aspects. Or double blind manufacturing. Which I just coined to mean that they are making it up as they go. Short term, long term health benefits or injurious medical harm. We couldn't possibly know the long term effects. As I have seen medicine faithfully prescribed for 20 years or more before being black labeled suddenly for some random ill effect that was noticed. Or award winning medicine that was not properly utilized, but a scandal of sorts instead to try too dissuade people from using something that is more recognized as safe and effective.and It is a medical practice. Some people came out with a play book though ready to go. It is always game time. and I seen how far they are willing to go to make sure that the proper people had proper protection. It is hard to come down on the wrong side of something that you set the goal posts for. I do believe there was a large healthy dose of much needed skepticism applied even across the board. Even now it is finger pointing and hindsight revelation that medical treatment shouldn't be harnessed by politicians or used in such a manner that people should be brow beaten and shamed for not taking an experimental medicine. No I think that under these circumstances maybe things should fall flat for good reasons. I would be more upset at pharmacology in this instance. After all a doctor doesn't make the medication. They receive recommendations from those who have made and tested them. And pharmacists do not generally prescribe them. It is not so unbelievable that a novel medication was pushed for profit. That is a main motivation of the actual industry. But at what cost?

My mother (90) in Cumbria had a visit from someone from her surgery asking her if she wanted to sign a DNR around the time of the jab roll out - early 2021. She had 2 AZ jabs and 5 months later was diagnosed with heart failure. She only lived another two months.

My father fell ill with Covid. During the day he had been in good form and totally lucid but got a high fever later in the day. After the ambulance arrived, a Doctor rang me and asked me if I wanted him to be taken to hospital or to die at home.
He asked me if he should put a “Do not resuscitate” order on him. His tone throughout was suggestive that this was the right thing to do.
There was no form signed, my father couldn’t participate in the conversation and there were no witnesses.
The next day my brother and I visited the hospital and were surprised to find him awake and totally lucid. He even rang us both at home later on the day.
Early the next morning we got a phone call to call us into the hospital, basically to watch him die as they had administered the morphine/medazolam.
I have no medical experience so wasn’t aware of the process that was going ahead.
Given the information that is coming out I can’t help but feel totally let down and will always wonder if my father could have lived longer.

The CNA was in the exam room with me. I passed out and fell to the floor. The CNA watched me fall and offered me no assist.

I think a law should be passed that requires healthcare facilities to offer BOTH a DNR and a Refusal of DNR. The absence of an unsigned DNR form is not enough protection in my opinion.

I was in hospital in march this year, I heard an elderly 92 year old lady being told by a dr that they wouldn’t resuscitate if her heart stopped as it wouldn’t be worth it, she had no family there at the time, she didn’t have her hearing aids in and clearly had no clue what she was signing, I was shocked at what I was hearing.
Her daughter came in later that evening and I asked to speak with her and old her exactly what was said, it was her who told me her mum didn’t have her hearing aids in and if handed a piece of paper to sign she would trust the dr, she said my mum would never sign a DNR. The daughter went out and went straight to the nurse sister on the ward and said I want this removed immediately, she was told it wouldn’t get done until the morning and she said no you’re removing it now tonight, around 23.45 the sister came in to say it had been removed from her record, the poor lady said I couldn’t hear him I didn’t know why I had to sign it.
Her daughter thanked me for telling her, the next morning the dr came back and said to the lady who went home that day, I’m sorry for any confusion over the conversation yesterday, there was no confusion he tricked a relatively healthy lady into signing a form telling her that her life wasn’t worth saving.this is in the uk down the other end of the country from Scotland, my question is how many people are being tricked into signing these forms, I was furious and appalled for her and her family.
Im in a rehabilitation centre for brain surgeon and damage, they asked about 6 months ago if i would sign a DNR order im only 52 .
The same thing was done here in Australia. My neighbour was being coerced to sign this for his mother in Covid. His family would not consent.
To me this points to a loss of Judeo-Christian morality and ethics in medicine. What a cold and heartless alteration to a fundamental understanding we once cherished and protected.

Hearing this brings me back to my 34 year old daughter had a stroke in July nearly 2 years ago,i was asked early on right after surgery to remove clot in her neck and in the middle of night i was asked if i would go along with a DNR, i said absolutely no. She is with me now and needs lots of care and i will be there for her till I am gone from this earth.
this is unreal! There is so much of this coming out now - worse than what we thought. I'm so glad your daughter is still with you 💓. My mother was 31 kgs when she died in 2022. She was bedridden with end-stage cancer and did not want to be jabbed. They jabbed her anyway. She was immobile and in her own room. It was just another bit of stress that she did not need in the last hours of her life. But the hospital got their payment for another dosage jab I guess....
