    Cities zoning can vary in what they allow (Bylaws) for secondary suites. Important to do your research (due diligence), as stated, in this video.

    I'd have thought making sure of the ability To have thé 2nd unit *1st* would be priority BEFORE purchasing!

    Moving walls, etc isn't "just cosmetic" and *will* réquire permits and architectural approvals from your City or town!
