Amen to that!! I remember an early season when I had 3 in diapers... my oldest was trying to potty train but not quite there (about 31 mos), our second (15 months) and third (new born) were still in diapers. One night during various stages of bathtime, I thought I'd love a picture of all of them. Well, things got quite chaotic, and the picture became impossible in the moment . But, I laid 3 lovely (clean of course!!) diapers on the rug - LG Pink diaper, Med Blue diaper, and tiny white newborn diaper - and took that picture - just to remind me that we made it through some trying times, and it would be worth it! Also (in moments like that, or when the 4 kids were fussing with each other) I used to imagine a future moment when they would all be "grown ups" and sitting around the table talking, playing games, etc. with spouses... we are at that stage now. And it happened "in the blink of an eye". ❤

This is encouraging Emma! I am Baptist as well and 3+ years ago from hearing of Megan's conviction to headcovering (even though she's Mennonite) I began my own studying of it and came to my own conviction that it is an ordinance to be followed. I was the only one at our previous church of several hundred people. Well actually the pastor, when I asked his opinion on it, said there were a couple of older ladies that he knew covered. I had not seen them and our church was big enough to have 2 services so I kept my eye out of them and did get to talk to one once. She said used to be Mennonite, stopped covering at some point, but then was convicted of it years later. It was extremely uncomfortable to start but pushed through it. No one there, not even friends, asked me about it. They were probably uncomfortable as I was. My husband graduated from Southern Seminary and has been pastoring a small Southern Baptist church for the last 2 1/2 years. So I'm the pastors wife who head covers. After about 6 months of being there someone finally asked why I wore a covering. And I have had 2 others ask since. No one has yet decided to. Well except my 11 year old has decided to follow Jesus so I bought her one and she's getting used to wearing it. I believe history is that it was once taught, then changed to wearing in fashion hats, but those went out of fashion around the same time as the 1960's sexual revolution, women's rights movement. And bc of that movement covering was no longer being taught and has been done away with for decades now. And sadly now, I see some men keeping their ball caps on. ☹️ RC Sproul was the only pastor I know of who taught it as to be followed. His wife covered (but I believes now passed) and I also think his daughter in law covers. I actually found an old photo from one of the Southern Baptist Conventions and every single woman there has a hat of some kind on and the men do not have their hats on put they're on the tables. It's a great photo!

Most expensive frivolous purchase... My husband and I went to Maine on our honeymoon. We set aside money received at our wedding for spending. I bought a $450 landscape oil painting from a local artist from the island where we stayed. I still wince when I think about it, but is a good memory when I look at it. 😊 Love listening to you ladies ❤
Love listening to you both. It's like a chat with friends. I have 9 children. People at stores we frequented loved them when they were a pile of littles following us like ducklings. They were generally well behaved and drew alot of attention. Yes, there were occasional rude looks or comments, often when I was expecting another and very large and uncomfortable, but I also received sweet comments. It is not easy, and their faces do get dirty fast. I would add to swipe the neck as well. Farm kids can look like they could grow radishes in their neck creases by the end of the day. But what a beautiful thing, all in all.💞
I'm from Wisconsin. Not too many small time farmers left around here. Hard work, but raises hardworking young people. All my boys can fix machinery. My oldest son is known all over the area for his mechanic skills and is always in demand. That's real life homeschool training in the most practical of ways. My girls came later, so they don't do as much with the cows, but are learning about horses, clams and snails from the lake, caring for our chickens, sewing, gardening and learning to cook. And, of course there's the bookwork. Some of it comes in at unconventional times of day. Like this morning during my devotions, I shared what I learned about what an ephod is, and the urim and thummim. There's both Bible and history in there, plus I threw in a multiplication problem for him. If there's 12 stones on the ephod, and three in each row, how many rows are there? 😃 Thanks, ladies, for bringing joy to my week with your program and easing some of the lonesome in this life.
My mom and aunt are sisters and my dad and uncle are cousins too! So my cousins are both first and second cousins! My parents were partners in my aunt and uncle's wedding. A year later they married! We grew up so close! I am so thankful for those relationships! ❤ Thank you for this enjoyable and informative visit! Smiles, Abby Smith
I will say Jayna is the best Sunday school teacher ever, she is very talented and I enjoy every time she teaches. Megan I don't know you really well but I love how you match everything! I'm a messy girl myself
I always find it interesting when you talk about modesty in terms of clothing, comparing our interpretations of modesty! For me personally, I view it as more of a mindset/heart-posture whereby I try not to use clothing to draw attention to my appearance, since that's not what I want people to notice about me. So by that definition, I wouldn't wear anything revealing but I'm happy to wear trousers, but I certainly wouldn't be talking about my clothes to people! Please don't take this as criticism, I'm not coming at this from an I'm-right-you're-wrong perspective, I think as long as you pray on it and then follow the convictions you have that's what's important
Hmmm this is something to think about! Although God has given women a desire to create beauty and to be beautiful. I wonder how that all works together. Definitely something to wrestle with for me.
When talking with non-believers I find the easiest gateway is modesty in clothing. There's a lot you can discuss with biblical reference as to why we cover our bodies. Its easier to discuss internal or mental modesty with believers because they have a solid foundation of faith and anything you share will be seen with the right view. Eg. I am a 36F cup and I suffer from B cup envy, in this worldly climate someone would run to conclusions about sexuality issues but my friends know when I start talking about it that's it's a contentment issue and I'm not trying to be in another woman's bra (if you understand)
@@MeganFoxUnlocked You should listen to Charles message on modesty it should still be up. He talks about being a heart issue as well. Remember God looks in the heart He sees the lust of the flesh. I have seen many think it’s just a outward thing. It is not. Being around all types of people. Their attitude and body language will tell you how modest they are. In 1 Peter 3 tells us where beauty should come from. “Your beauty should not come from outward adornments, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.” To this means our heart first needs to be pure before we put on outward things. We can see how much the world puts on beauty standards. The amount of time and money people put into themselves and less into God. Blessings and love❤
Drying racks are very used in any country except for the U.S. I have lived in Asia, Central America and Europe and it is just normal. But here the apartment communuities ban them, if they are outside, which is just the opposite of other countries. The management companies need to know what they are.
I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian and I watch Megan's channel and this podcast because it is hard to find a good christian source of inspiration and I thoroughly enjoy you both.
Was coming to say this! It also saves the suit’s elasticity and makes it last longer by rinsing it out! I swam competitively for 13 years and this is how we made our suits last!
We are a multigenerational family (over 100) who go to the mountains every year! It’s so fun and we can catch up on life. Also, on the splurge question I would respond-pool this year. Woah! But we are so anxious to start enjoying it soon.
1 cor 11:15 "For long hair is given to her as a covering." I feel this contradicts what y'all believe. But I respect y'all for doing it out of obedience and love you guys' love for God. This was a great video! I think we don't have to camp out too hard on things that aren't salvation issues which y'all don't and I appreciate that aswell (as far as the head coverings go).
My favorite part of this episode was the favorite thing about each other part. Thanks Jayna for being so real yet again. I think what Megan said comes across in these videos, you seem so honestly sincere. I liked the advice about a good cry because every once in awhile nothing makes me feel better than a good cry. And Megan absolutely seems soo driven, she’s so motivating! I wish I could have half the drive of Megan.
It's safe to say that you two provide my favorite thing to watch on TH-cam. I also come from a big Christian family with very strong Jesus loving roots. I have very close friendships with many of my cousins and extended family members. I am soo thankful for my family, and I love to hear you both express appreciation for your family, too. One of the relationships I have with my cousin Andrea reminds me a little of the two of you. I already shared your stuff with her, and she was encouraged. I love learning about the similarities and differences we've got. I've been raised and still attend primarily non-denominational/inter-denominational churches, but still love hearing what you have to say. Have you ladies ever attended a non-mennonite church?
Cleaning kitchen cupboards as I listened to your chat was very enjoyable! One of my hubby’s brother has 2 sons. They both will have married sisters. One will be married in a few days. So the 3 kids the oldest has will be double cousins with the other brother’s future kids. Oh yes and the 2 sister’s brother married one of the brother’s first cousin last year. So your relationship makes sense to me.
Personal, I've heard 1 Corinthians 11 interpreted as during Paul's time only prostitutes didn't cover their heads, and so culturally at the time he was advising women to not dress as prostitutes, especially at church. That's not to impugne your convictions. I just personally do not share your interpretation or conviction and am glad you don't think I'm going to hell for it. Cheers!
I once heard a pastor say something to the point of " if you wouldn't be willing to be persecuted for it, dont be a part of it". That stuck with me... I didn't feel like a cape dress and a 3 piece, 18 pleat covering and so on were entirely in my heart and i felt that if i remained a part of that, then i was a hypocrite. 🤷 I think you have to be entirely sincere on at least 98% to be a part of an organized religion. I like that you talk about everything, its not just religion or kids or cooking.... I love the diversity. Thank you both for excellent, uplifting, thought provoking content. ❤ Most expensive thing ... Our mattress. Its a king and we've had it since 2016 and it is worth every single penny...we paid. 😂 No regrets. I did throw up after we bought it but.. no regrets. 🤷🤣
As a fellow missionary who lived in Haiti over the time of the kidnapping and knew multiple natives etc who were involved with CAM, the kidnapping, and seen the good, the bad, and the horrifically ugly side of missions, I encourage you to be careful in promoting the book Kidnapped in Haiti until you've read the book "In the Name of Mission work" by Douerdly Cadet. Please read it and talk about it on a future episode.
Yes! I haven’t read either but really want to read the “In the Name of Mission work”! I often wondered if the kidnapping wasn’t revenge for the evil that happened over in Haiti through CAM. Thanks for sharing!
I want to know what Jayna would wear if she was not a Mennonite. She said there is a few clothing options she would like to try, I was curious as to what. I imagine......just throwing on some sweats or comfy pants and running to the store might be what Jayna would say----am I way off or in the ball park :) LOVE the podcast!!!!
Most expensive thing I have ever bought outside my car and house is a stunning nativity set in Israel that was hand carved in Bethlehem. It reminds me of this beautiful country and of my Savior.
What about the part in 1 Corinthians 11 that says our hair is given to us as our covering? Just curious not being argumentive in any way. I go to a church where we don't cut our hair and the ladies do cover their elbows and only where dresses or skirts. We definitely stand out in the world, but the scripture says that we are a peculiar people.
I bet I know what church you are a part of and I have respect for this belief. But when you look up the passage in its original Greek it appears they are talking about a literal headcovering. Also it seems like if the hair was the covering then the men would shave their heads!? Just my thoughts. And thank you for your comment. I see your perspective!
@@MeganFoxUnlocked jumping in to add that in the original Greek the words are indeed different! Hair as our covering is a different word than when we are told to wear a covering.
What a wild day you must have had yesterday! It looked like a mess on radar! But even a storm can't keep Honey I'm Homemaker down. I'm sure your future family trip will be that much better in the future and that much more influential in promoting modest clothing. ☔💃📸
I had 7 children and didn't feel that was a lot. I do hear from other's that we were crazy but who cares what they think. No one else paid our bills and raised them so we didn't care how crazy they thought we were. Children are blessings from God. The world has it all wrong. Yes it's hard to support lots of Children but it's all in priority. We chose a family not materialistic things. We can only take our family with us to heaven not our houses and cars.
I really admire your conversational skills. I'm wondering if you have any advice for someone who has trouble making conversation. How do you think of what to talk about? What are some conversation tips that you have for keeping conversations going, getting into deep conversation...
That's a good question! Mayeb we can discuss more in a future episode! Maybe think of a few conversation starter questions ahead of time? And probably it mostly just takes practice.
I think the most important thing is to read the Bible & study it so we are followers of Jesus. Also our fellowship with like minded people in church & smaller groups helps us stay connected to Jesus. I grew up as a Christian in India & the Church was my anchor as I moved into a new culture. I love you two for being real & sharing your life with us! It takes me back to my raising my little ones & instilling in them a little of our Indianess.
I am wondering if a girl in your church can start wearing a head covering whenever she desires . Can she choose to wear it before she has accepted Jesus and/or been baptized?
Our most expensive purchase was our new dual fuel range! We got my dream stove and I love it, but it was a big purchase! I definitely nickel and dime more than buy big things! 😂
Windsurf board, paddleboard, sewing machine, notebook computer, boots, purse, eyeglasses, bicycle, that stuff. I sm a goodwill guru. I cover my head, but with a hat or scarf. I wish everyone did.
I am a christian and have struggled with the head covering thing for a few years, it does say wife specifically in the ESV not woman and it's a symbol of authority, so that imo should be when a lady is to start wearing one, unless it says woman in other translations then I'd say that's up to them to determine at what age they're a woman. Nobody in my culture wears one and I struggle with if I were to just randomly start wearing one, would I get bombarded with questions, although I do agree with you Megan that it is just out of obedience. I have looked into it and researched what some theologians and pastors say and don't seem to find a common answer, I wish like you said Megan about liking the rules that we'd all just wear them or not and I could stop going back and forth with wondering haha But curious why you always wear your hair up or in a bun with your covering since it doesn't specify on that? All just out of curiosity and wanting to learn and grow in my own journey.
Wow! See it's so much harder to do when you're in a culture that would think it super strange. I feel for you. Hoping you come to an answer that brings you peace.
That’s just what the church requires that it needs to be up in a bun. Rest assured the Holy Spirit will convict you if it is something that God desires of you. God had called me to change the style of my head covering while in the Mennonite community this was over 5 years ago and it was to teach me the hidden things of the church. Ministers where did not accept it. I was told I’m doing out of a rebellious heart, I was starting a fad and trying to get attention from others. There were some that told me size and color do matter. I had one tell me that God did not want me to where that. I say this because it may look appealing but God will give you an answer if it’s something he wants you to do. I know there are stories that some felt like they should and got hurt by the church for covering. It can be a testing of your faith and expose the people around you. Lord give Michelle wisdom and peace on if she should cover or not; speak into her life in Jesus name amen. Blessing♥️
For me, it's easier to wear my covering with a bun because my hair is knee-length and thick and the covering won't sit right unless I have it in a bun.
I'm Jewish and have been watching your channel for a year now. I've often thought of how similar your lifestyle is to orthodox Jews. 😊. Love your channel!
From my headcovering research I believe it's an ordinance for a woman who is a believer. So when my daughter's say they're ready to follow Jesus it's something she should start doing. However, in my case, my husband is not fully convinced as I am so he has not made it something they must do. My 10.5 yo said she wanted to follow Jesus and a couple weeks later our 12.5 to did. They both were baptized within a couple of weeks from then. My now 11 is starting to headcover because she understands why I do it. My now 13 year old is definitely in the awkward stage of life and does not want to look weird. I am the only one in my church that covers other than my now 11yo. I am not forcing my oldest to do it because she needs to want to follow the Lord herself. Me requiring it from her would not accomplish that.
I understand and respect your obedience to wearing the vale, but 1st Corinthians 11 mentions hair as a woman's covering, so I am confused as how the vale became involved. I'm not being critical, just curious.
The way I see it then wouldn't the men have to shave their heads? It's kind of a dicey topic and I have compassion on differing view points, but once I read it in the original Greek, it seems to me that's what it's talking about.
If you really wanna dig into it - Mike Winger has a 6 hour teaching breaking down all debates found on this topic! He’s a great Christian TH-cam resource and great teacher
The Mennonites take verse 10. For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angles. Also I never understood being Mennonite that the women were do apply this to a physical sense but the men don’t. They would with not being aloud long hair but Mennonite men wear hats/ cover there heads. The would apply women to cover because we should pray without ceasing, so that is why they are to wear them all the time so that they’re ready to pray at any given moment. The men will take there hats off to pray.
@@MeganFoxUnlocked "Doth not even nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?" But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair was given her (God didn't give her a veil or cloth but gave her Hair)for a covering. Men wouldn't let their hair grow long not shave it. Women let their hair grow or just uncut.
One thing I have always wondered is if you wear bathing suits as Mennonites! And what that looks like for you, as in do you keep the same modesty rules
Yes, I don't keep the same level of modest when I swim. I wear a tankini and then either a short or skirt bottom. Then I'll wear a cover up to and from the pond, pool, lake etc.
Totally random thought, but I would love to know if you have read the book Michelle wrote a forward for? It's called "Large family logistics" by Kim Brenneman. It is a FANTASTIC book for the Christian homemaker. It doesn't have any other relationship to the Duggars that I know of but wow it is just SO fantastic for a mother and homemaker!! A must read!
I enjoyed this episode and am enjoying the comments. I really relate to what Megan said about the difficult part of the podcast is putting her opinions out there and her heart pounding when she's saying something. I SO feel that, especially as an introvert who is not always good at advocating for myself. Perhaps a question for the next episode: How do you get over that apprehension of putting yourself out there, so to speak? Does it get easier the more you do it?
Most are teenagers 13-15. There are churches that do when a girl gets baptized which can be younger than 13. There are some churches that do it around when the girl hits puberty. Traditionally, the cape’s were sewn on a dress when a girl started blooming. The traditional Mennonites that wear the cap covering is around 15 years of age.
Love the podcast. Could u repeat the VS about ur veil? I looked up 1cor1:11 & 2cor 1:11 it didn't say anything. I'm Apostolic & we are similar except the veil no make up cover knees & elbows. Corinthians also talks about the uncut hair on a woman. That's our covering.
Love yalls Episodes! Yes there were some Mennonites that were interviewed about their kidnapping in Haiti it was very interesting! We were praying for them while they were in hostage!
A big ticket item for me was my wedding band on my 25th wedding anniversary. I grew weary of people at work thinking I was a single mom because I did not wear a wedding band. If your church changes their teaching on this subject, do you think you would wear a wedding band?
Is there a good resource you can recommend to read the differences of opinions between covering as a command vs. a cultural thing of the biblical times? I've grown up hearing that hair covering, jewelry, braids, etc was.no longer required because those were cultural issues of the time. What i have found based on mynown quick google searches the information sounds more cult like rather than how you describe it which sounds more genuine and organic(?) maybe, not sure if that's the right word.
Mike Winger is a Bible teacher here on TH-cam and he has a very in-depth video about headcoverings-search his name and the topic and it should come up. 🙂

I love when someone has enough content I can watch a couple in a row! I'm currently doing that with Jessica from Three Rivers Homestead!
Q&As are my favorite. Well done ladies.
But what a beautiful thing, all in all.💞
"Swipe the neck!" Spoken like a true mother of 9! Love it! And I'd be curious what state you live in. I love that this has been your experience!
My Grandma was a momma of 9 kids. People would often ask if they were catholic and she would respond “No, just good Protestants!” and off she’d go 😊
I'm from Wisconsin.
Aw thanks!
Meant matchy girl. Auto correct!
Eg. I am a 36F cup and I suffer from B cup envy, in this worldly climate someone would run to
conclusions about sexuality issues but my friends know when I start talking about it that's it's a contentment issue and I'm not trying to be in another woman's bra (if you understand)
They must think they are "eyse-sores" or something? They are perfectly useful and should be more common IMO.
I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian and I watch Megan's channel and this podcast because it is hard to find a good christian source of inspiration and I thoroughly enjoy you both.
So glad you're here!
I don’t wash bathing suits basically ever but rinse them every time after chlorine so it doesn’t dim the colors
That's smart!
Thanks Megan and Jayna! I appreciate your TH-cam vids❤
Drive is good when in the right place. Misplace it and everyone is miserable. I need to remind myself of that!
Glad you posted a video! I was looking forward to your appearance on the inherit live today!
So bummed, but we currently have it rescheduled for next Monday so 🙏🙏🙏
Funny thing, my biggest personal splurge has been 3 Amish Made quilts. I have bought each of my 3 quilts at Firehouse Auction at Bird in Hand Pa.
That's a worthwhile investment in a beautiful works of art that can also be functional! ❤ good choice!
Cheers!
I look forward to your discussions and Q & As. It is refreshing to hear a biblical perspective from young moms.
Love this episode! Thanks for sharing y’all’s thoughts! 😊
The lollypops are in the diaper bag specifically for when we go grocery shopping 😂 we're able to get through the store with less melt downs lol
Smart lady you are😊
Genius! Except my 1 year old gets SO STICKY!!
Yes! We do those tiny “dum-dum” kind. Such life savers!
@@MeganFoxUnlocked my 1 year old does as well but that's what the wipes are for 😅
I once heard a pastor say something to the point of " if you wouldn't be willing to be persecuted for it, dont be a part of it".
Most expensive thing ...
Agreed!
Thank you for sharing this. 💯 agree!
I wondered the same thing and was so curious if the sexual abuse created the kidnapping.
Just ordered it can’t wait to read it! Thanks again♥️ Blessings to you as you processes all you were exposed. That has got to quite an experience.
I think short to the knee and a tank top.
We have 6 children and I’ve never felt like we have a big family!!😊
Same, but public stares remind me I’m a minority in that thought 😂😂
@@stillyourbhaha so true. I have 5 and we get those...
Most expensive thing I have ever bought outside my car and house is a stunning nativity set in Israel that was hand carved in Bethlehem. It reminds me of this beautiful country and of my Savior.
It sounds like a special treasure!
I really do hope so.
I really like these.
❤ this!
You guys are both beautiful ❤I enjoy your podcast it’s amazing learning about new topics.
Great podcast topic! And remember, we're cousins so it's pretty easy for us too!
Will you turn the captions on please? Can't wait to watch this one!
Is it on now?
@@MeganFoxUnlocked Yes! Thank you!
Love you girls ❤!!
Another fun vlog ladies. U r both smart beautiful and have lots of great ideas. Take care
Most expensive thong I have bought, as opposed to my husband buying... probably the puppies I just brought home this spring and summer.
I want to hear more about the work in Thailand!
Enjoy you 2 so much!
I have looked into it and researched what some theologians and pastors say and don't seem to find a common answer, I wish like you said Megan about liking the rules that we'd all just wear them or not and I could stop going back and forth with wondering haha
But curious why you always wear your hair up or in a bun with your covering since it doesn't specify on that?
Blessing♥️
@@elle_nolt thank you so much, I very much appreciate your prayer and the info xoxo
For me, it's easier to wear my covering with a bun because my hair is knee-length and thick and the covering won't sit right unless I have it in a bun.
Great job!! I enjoyed your talk today. Blessings….
I'm Jewish and have been watching your channel for a year now. I've often thought of how similar your lifestyle is to orthodox Jews. 😊. Love your channel!
Hi Megan 👋 I was wondering where you get your graphic t's I love them! 😊
That's a good way of looking at it. I don't have older kids yet, but I like that approach!
The double yolkers ARE exciting.
You ladies are great together.
Enjoy the children if you think about their lives in summers there are 18 of them and than there grown
Haha our most expensive thing is a $5,000 storm shelter!! We live in tornado alley
Worth every penny!!
@@MeganFoxUnlocked Megan I would LOVE a video about head coverings, but I understand if you may shy away from doing a video like that.
My expensive thing I can think of are my Rothy's shoes that I think we're $160.
@@MeganFoxUnlocked okay, thanks for replying! 😄
Jayna, which serger model do you have? I have a Brother 1034D and it was only $130 but I will probably need to upgrade at some point.
It's a babylock imagine. Highly recommend!
My most expensive thing would be our boat and our really nice Mt. Bikes
I want a boat! I can have Josh or I can have a boat. I can't have both! (He says they take way too much maintenance. 🙄)
I’m not a mennonite, but I live near Lancaster county and I’ve seen many mennonites in cape dresses
Do u have friends outside of the Mennonite community? Do you have any in the LBGTQ+ community?
Great “H I H” tonight. I ALWAYS look forward , Gos bless❣️
Agree 💯 with Jayna's thoughts on adoption. Another great episode ladies!
I was hoping you were going to tell us how old you were when you started covering your hair
I was 13
Love the podcast.
Very enjoyable. 😊
What do you WEAR for swimming or paddle boarding? Appreciate any advice. God bless
Love yalls Episodes! Yes there were some Mennonites that were interviewed about their kidnapping in Haiti it was very interesting! We were praying for them while they were in hostage!
I have a short torso too with a large chest. All my height is in my legs. 😅😅😅 i rather stand
Why do some Meninite women wear black veils and some wear white?
Personal preference or what their particular church requires their women to wear. I choose to wear black for practical reasons.
❤
A big ticket item for me was my wedding band on my 25th wedding anniversary. I
grew weary of people at work thinking I was a single mom because I did not wear a wedding band. If your church changes their teaching on this subject, do you think you would wear a wedding band?
how can I marry a Mennonite
🎉🎉😊❤
I remember readinf that verse on high school or jr high and wondering why bible readers follow everything else in the N T except for that.
Hmmm. This is an interesting take!
I was very disappointed to hear you refer to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints as Mormons.
What's the difference?
Is that not a flattering term? I didn't realize. Should we say LDS in future?
Is there a good resource you can recommend to read the differences of opinions between covering as a command vs. a cultural thing of the biblical times? I've grown up hearing that hair covering, jewelry, braids, etc was.no longer required because those were cultural issues of the time. What i have found based on mynown quick google searches the information sounds more cult like rather than how you describe it which sounds more genuine and organic(?) maybe, not sure if that's the right word.
Mike Winger is a Bible teacher here on TH-cam and he has a very in-depth video about headcoverings-search his name and the topic and it should come up. 🙂
