That's a brave move. I don't think I would have paid more than $500 for all that, but if you can get four of them running and sell I guess you'll make some good profit with today's prices. I paid $1300 for my 95 XR200 (good condition) about 7 years ago and I paid $1500 for my 97 XR250 (excellent condition) about 5 years ago. Now a good deal on an XR250 is anything under around $2800 where I'm at in WA. My nephew just paid $1200 for a 2001 XR80 for his son and it needs a new front fender, new plastics, front tire, brakes, and a few other things. My other nephew just got a nice 2003 XR250 for $2800. I hope you post some update videos on those bikes, I'd like to see your progress.

The noice is timing chain. Tensioner needs to be adjusted easy fix.

ALWAYS BEFORE KICKING TH BIKE MAKE SURE YOUR
FOOT IS COMPLETELY RESTING ON THE KICK SATRER
IF YOU KEEP DOING IT THE WAY YOU SHOWED ON THIsS VIDEO
IN TIME THE BIKE WILL STATER GEARS ISSUES.
DO CHANE SPARK PLUG AND CLEAN RTHE CARB WELL>
