Thanks for the compliment. It was shot very low tech compared to how filming is done these days mostly on phones. I continue to work in SD on DV tape because I'm used to it and don't feel inclined to attempt to learn new skills with the latest equipment and computer editing. I had to use a small camcorder - which is all I could get into my hand baggage for the flight to Australia - and leave behind my two professional cameras in the UK. I used a tripod when I was outside the car. And it wasn't easy because of trying to see the LCD screen in the bright sunlight. I prefer the look of SD digital to the harshness of HD shot of phones so I'm sticking with that.
Very nice video! Still waiting for my everest sport too. Was wondering what’s your real world fuel consumption? Highway mileage and mix driving? Thank you.
hi mate, how much psi do we need to put in the tyres for offroading ? I m buying a v6 wildtrack and wanted to know. how do you fill the air once you are done ? do we need to carry an air pump along ?
Tire pressure depends on conditions and terrain. Before going off road suggest you booking on to 4wd course. They will tell you everything. And they are good fun.
Hey James, obviously not the standard grille you have there, can I ask how you got that style? I think it looks heaps better than standard. Cheers and thanks for sharing your video 👍
Thanks for your interest Frank. This was shot mainly as a music video. A lot of music videos don't actually bother to put in any ambient sound. In a couple of places I've added the sound of the car quietly in the background when this was available - free of wind noise. Many videos of a similar nature will add in sound in the studio during the editing - often sound from other sources recorded by other people. Conditions when shooting this kind of video are never good re the audio part of the video. I was visiting Australia from the UK and couldn't take a professional size camera and microphones with proper wind shields to cope with the windy conditions in Western Australia. Wind noise the filmmaker's curse.
love how this looks like it was shot in the 90s

@@peterdoyle3186 I am currently in Syd, do u know where I can try that ?
I don't. I'm in Perth. Google it.
,What size rims and tyre are you running, I just got my sport with the 20" and want to change to AT's
Man if you want to go offroad get rid of those 20" and get 18" with non radio AT tyres (if you're serious about off-roading)

Yeah 100% agree, it is the Raptor grill. Precision off road in Perth provided and fitted it.
is the engine reliable?
No issues so far and I tow a 2.6 T caravan
What's the song name ?
It's an AC/DC cover - She Shook me all Night Long
Is that sport edition 4x2

No bullbar on that video. I bought a ford grill, after market.
@@peterdoyle3186 ya I like the FORD grill, but I am getting a Ford Everest WT. I dont think we can fit that on a WT
What tyres size bro? and did it rub or hit
