- There's occasionally discussion on various foreign TV forums (*cough*, digitalspy *cough*) about American TV. There's no cherry picking here... I tried to spend 5-10 seconds on each channel that weren't showing commercials (I consider preaching on the religious channels to be commercials for the record)... Spanish channels were quickly skipped over and PPV/out-of-market games were scrolled through on the guide.

I remember when I was like 5 I would always tune in to channel 1 to hear all of the tips. I’m the kind of person that likes tutorials even though I already know that information. Of course, my family didn’t particularly enjoy Channel #1, but hey! They’re clearly the weird ones. However, when I saw that it was replaced with the WINS Infomercial channel, I was extremely disappointed. We got rid of DirecTV shortly after.
