I got the 100% pure squalane foundation and it was too light and also like the concealer, clings onto dead skin! I've hardly used it because of this. I don't want to wear foundation but I stil have some cystic acne and scarring and hyperpigmentation... Does the Alima Pure satin matte foundation smooth over dead skin? Thanks Sarah! :)

I use the Alima pure after my moisturizer has completely soaked in, I have combo skin and yes it does cling unless the areas are properly moisturized. You can also try mixing it with different oils and moisturizers to make a more "liquid" foundation.
Pacifica cosmetics and 100% Pure are my go to brands! I've only tried Alima pure once, and I don't really like mineral makeup, but I'll definitely have to give them another try.
I love the 100% pure healthy skin foundation. I have extremely oily/acne prone skin. That foundation is so nice and dry/matte. It's actually more matte than any foundation I've tried! It reminds me of Estée Lauder double wear.
My favorite brand is probably Honeybee Naturals. Their foundation is the first powder foundation that actually makes my skin look better! No breakouts, not drying. And their eyeshadows are amazing. And while I'm not sure how natural Bite Beauty truly is, their lipsticks are now the only ones I use. They always look gorgeous and highly pigmented.
I just tried out Red Apple Lipstick for the first time this year and I love it so much! Oh La La didn't look good on me but I am a huge fan of Audrey and I think Second Date is going to be my next order. Lots of fun choices on there, and I like their 6 month guarantee! I also have a 100% pure lipstick and their second skin foundation. The lipstick is a bit small but so beautiful. And the second skin is so easy to apply and loaded with great oils for the cooler months. Thanks for sharing!

the second sunrise as far as I can tell even people with celiac don't react to skin contact with gluten. it's only if you accidently ingest it, so gluten free lipstick would make sense. it's probably just a fad label.
the second sunrise It's because people with celiac cannot tolerate gluten at all and having gluten in their mascaras such as wheat germ can cause eye irritation/puffy eyes. Due to the fact that everything that you put on your skin goes into your bloodstream is the reason why gluten-free is best for people with celiac or gluten intolerances. :)

Lady, your hair is just so ethereal! I would have never known you suffered with cystic acne! I don't wear a lot of eyeliner either anymore. Thank you for the close ups and swatches!! This is so helpful! Sappho recently rebranded to My Sappho Paradigm and compltely repackaged and reformulated I believe. Fruit pigments do not last though and and need to be preserved with broad spectrum, this is one HUGE downside of 100% Pure. Its a lovely idea but can be dangerous too for health. I had a mascara from them until it started smelling off after only a couple weeks and caused an eye infection. Lovely collection!
Madeleine McNamara I think it's from Madewell. A mock turtleneck sweater. I got it in blush but I'm taking it back. Hand wash garment and I got hot in it. I was about to wear it out but I changed, definitely going back. Madewell is having a sale right now though, FYI

There is also a concern for a possible autoimmune source to my facial erythema as well :( But this is the only skin I have so it has become my mission to find healthy products that will help me look less tired (yes, those dang dark circles are a bear to cover up properly). You should try Omiana! That's what I use because they are mica-free! I use their foundation powder, blushes, and bronzer. Their mineral powders are great, but their liquid foundations are trash as much as I love the brand- I'm just gonna tell you that right now
