You definitely still need concealer with alima pure if you have actual acne like me but if you’re wearing foundation underneath it brings it straight back to looking like skin, so amazing!! I only wish the container was bigger!

I'm ordering more eyeshadows to press, haha. For body- I generally have to go unscented so it's not exciting. I use Dr. Bronners soap in the shower, kiss my face shaving cream in the pump bottle, EO body washes, desert essence fragrance free conditioner and shampoo. I do really love the 100% Pure lotions and scrubs, but they're pricy so I also use plain coconut oil. For hair products, I use the Josh Rosebrook lift and the pure and simple (I think) hair spray. It's not great, but its the only unscented one around!
Oh my new favorite for foundation is the Gressa. There's a list of my favorites on my website laurasnaturallife.com look under the loves tab! Also, for moisturizer I use either the Ko & Humble Passion Fruit Seed Oil or the Acure Day Cream

I like to either press them or use them on smaller amounts on my face like that concealer and blush where it's not covering my nose- I don't want to breath in loose powder all day.

You have to try Faerie Organic brand, they are from LA and is the most beautiful, full coverage, organic/natural foundation and concealer i've ever tried, is also cheap 22USD :) !!
+Grace Elizabeth I have a whole sunscreen video, actually. But if you mean face sunscreen, that's a tough one. There are a lot of BB Creams or tinted moisturizers with sunscreen, but there are very few that I actually like so far. I'm always on the hunt!

Hi Laura! How natural/clean is the brand Bare minerals in your opinion? I'm really into natural products and try my best not to put parabens or other carcinogens on my face. I have fair skin with blue under eye circles and constantly have issues with flaky forehead skin, although I have oily/combo skin. it is impossible to find any good concealers and foundations that cover up my blemishes, but also don't make me look cakey, flakey, or oily.
The best concealer in my opinion is W3LL People. As for foundation, sadly they are all over $40. But I like Nu Evolution and Juice Beauty liquid foundations!

Hi, thank you for the video! It was very helpful. I would like to transition into only using 'green' makeup as I think it may help calm my acne. The only problem I've found is that the makeup can be quite pricy which is hard for someone who's makeup collection is mostly drugstore products. A natural brand I've found called Lavera has products at a good price for me. Have you tried any of there products out? I want to buy the foundation first and the Lavera natural liquid foundation is the one I'm steering towards. The only thing that holds me back is that there are a tonne of ingredients which don't all sound the healthiest. Anyway, thank you for the video :)

+Libby Lazar Like a powder or a primer? The 100% Pure liquid foundation is very, very matte. The RMS un-powder and the W3ll People setting powders are quite mattifying. 100% Pure also has a mattifying primer. Hope that helps!

Do you have a comparison of the alima pressed powder foundation vs. Jane Iredale pressed powder? Not able to decide what to get and I am very light skin tone.
So I'm just starting to green up our family, and want to work on my makeup. One thing I'm nervous about is I live in Florida, and it's humid, and I have oily skin and well leave makeup residue on things. Where would you start?
+Lauren Harmon Oh gotcha. Honestly, I would start with foundation and skin care since it covers your whole face and stays there all day. Also, lipstick since you basically eat it! For oily skin, you might want to check out 100% Pure liquid foundation. It is very matte! Also a mattifying setting powder will be great - maybe the RMS UnPowder or the W3LL People Realist.
I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard wonderful things. It's almost time for me to change my daily skin care stuff (I can't throw away an almost empty bottle, gotta finish it) and am thinking about giving ART a try.
Hi, I was looking at the ingredient lists of each product that I liked as you when though but on the Lilly lolo their site doesn't actually list the ingredients. I can't just take their word (because they are obviously the sellers and want a profit) that it is as good and natural as they say, so, do you have an actual ingredients list from their mascara or where I could find it?
Love 100% Pure skin care products, but when I tried their foundation it didn't give hardly any coverage... & after it dried on my skin, it began peeling off like dried up latex glue !

I already own some Alima Pure products and i love them but i do not think that Alima Pure is organic, do you know if they are? +Cæcilie Holm Hey there! No, I don't think organic is necessary unless you feel that you want to only purchase organic products. The selection of organic products is far smaller than nontoxic or natural. I actually have not tried Jane Iredale. Mmmm, yes I do think organic makeup is safer than mineral. It kind of depends on the company, too, because some mineral makeup will use nano particals which aren't great either.
Are the all the companies and products you mention also cruelty free? Or is your main focus just the ingredients? This is a great video as I am transitioning, thank you!
I use 100percentpure for pretty much everything. But looking for an eye shadow base or good primer that won't crease and will hold the shadow. Any recs?

How do you know which brands have semi toxic ingredients like honest beauty? Do lipsticks and other cosmetic products list those ingredients such as fdnc dyes?
Yes, most companies will disclose their ingredient list. The key is learning to read the ingredient list and knowing what to look for. I actually have a whole online course about this on laurasnaturallife.com

+Libby Lazar Like a powder or a primer? The 100% Pure liquid foundation is very, very matte. The RMS un-powder and the W3ll People setting powders are quite mattifying. 100% Pure also has a mattifying primer. Hope that helps!
Hello again! I just thought I'd come back with an update. I got the 100% pure foundation, thanks for the recommendation. I also got the Mineral Fusion mattifying primer, and it works WONDERFULLY! Definitely recommend it to any oily girls out there. Just thought I'd share!

+Lauren Harmon Oh gotcha. Honestly, I would start with foundation and skin care since it covers your whole face and stays there all day. Also, lipstick since you basically eat it! For oily skin, you might want to check out 100% Pure liquid foundation. It is very matte! Also a mattifying setting powder will be great - maybe the RMS UnPowder or the W3LL People Realist.

Hi, I was looking at the ingredient lists of each product that I liked as you when though but on the Lilly lolo their site doesn't actually list the ingredients. I can't just take their word (because they are obviously the sellers and want a profit) that it is as good and natural as they say, so, do you have an actual ingredients list from their mascara or where I could find it?

Love 100% Pure skin care products, but when I tried their foundation it didn't give hardly any coverage... & after it dried on my skin, it began peeling off like dried up latex glue !
Oh yuck! They have so many to choose from. Some of them are definitely not winners in my book.
I am wanting to find an alternative for a liquid eye liner. I am currently using Rimmel's glam eyes one which is not great health wise

+Cæcilie Holm Hey there! No, I don't think organic is necessary unless you feel that you want to only purchase organic products. The selection of organic products is far smaller than nontoxic or natural. I actually have not tried Jane Iredale. Mmmm, yes I do think organic makeup is safer than mineral. It kind of depends on the company, too, because some mineral makeup will use nano particals which aren't great either.

My main focus is the ingredients. However, most companies that are truly natural or organic will also be cruelty free.
I use the Vapour range which is pure natural and 70% organic.
Do you have a dupe for the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer?
I don't have a dupe, but my favorite natural one is Lily Lolo
I use 100percentpure for pretty much everything. But looking for an eye shadow base or good primer that won't crease and will hold the shadow. Any recs?

How do you know which brands have semi toxic ingredients like honest beauty? Do lipsticks and other cosmetic products list those ingredients such as fdnc dyes?
Yes, most companies will disclose their ingredient list. The key is learning to read the ingredient list and knowing what to look for. I actually have a whole online course about this on laurasnaturallife.com
