Fixed: how to fix 'No service' after flashing a ROM

First install back a ROM with a good service.
1; install Mixplorer app (from apkmirror) and allow it root privilege.
2: go to root directory and go to system folder, etc folder, then copy the Firmware folder and Paste it on your internal or sd card.
After flashing a ROM with no service:
1: install Mixplorer again, give root privilege and go to system folder, etc folder and Delete the Firmware folder.
2: now copy the good Firmware folder from the location you put it earlier and paste it in root directory, system folder, etc folder
After some seconds you should obtain your service back.
If not restart your phone.

Just to ask you, if i take the firmware of the rom jellybean 4.1.1 of my s3 to change with firmware of lineageos 14.1 nougat 7.1.2 you think It can work ?

i copied firmware from a working rom and then put the folder into the aospe rom and it didnt work, i did everything in the video correctly. what exactly did i do? is this replacing the modem from the other rom into this one?

+BackyardRx7 Swap did you copy the whole Firmware folder into the right 'etc folder'
It's root directory, system folder, etc folder

yeah, deleted the folder in aosp and copied the one from miui into it. (miui is the only rom that ive tested that actually works) also does it matter that the phone service in the aospe rom likes to force close when i interact with it? not the actual cellphone calling part but the com.android.phone or (phone services) app crashes

ok good news is that my service bars actually popped up (progress) but my messages arent sending and phone calls dont exist although i have 4/5 bars at least
